Nutrience has added a new line - "Sub Zero" grain free with something called Freeze dried raw boosters ". anyway I have a large shitzu with a number of food allergies and fortunately this food has none of the ingredients he is allergic to. More importantly, while he is the opposite of food driven, he loves this food! He also seem more energetic (not that he needed to be) but based on the excellent ingredient list and his reaction to this food, i think we have found an ideal food for him after what seems like an endless search. He just gobbles this stuff up and even licks the bowl - I'm not kidding. There are 3 different foods in this line, we are using Fraser Valley which is more Turkey and Chicken. The other 2 are more Fish and red meat oriented. I would recommend the new Sub Zero to anyone who worries about what there dog eats. This is our brand for life!

Every time I went to put the food in the bowl, I always got run over. One day, I went to the kitchen and I found Buddy's head in the bag eating it away. Since then, I've bought more. I had not choice, he loves it. Two paws up!!

I love the fact that this is a Canadian made product and that it is grain free so no cheap fillers. My dog took to this food like she had never been fed before, and by the time the bag was empty she had more energy, her coat was healthy and more shiny than ever before. She obviously loved the food and we love her so will be most definitely buying this in the future!

The food was a hit for most of my dogs except for one. The small pieces appealed to both my small and medium sized dogs. The smell of the fish when opening the bag was very apparent and actually had small chunks of freeze dried fish in with the food. The first day or two I had to mix it with their old food for them to eat it but as time went on they ate more of it. They ate smaller portions of this feed and seemed more satisfied then the what Id usually give them with their old food. The small or no fillers helped keep them fuller longer with smaller waste

Usually my dog, a chihuahua minature pincher cross, is pretty picky about his food, but not with this brand. We received the nutrience subzero Fraser Valley flavour with chicken, turkey, salmon, herring and cod to try for free from Chickadvisor and it has been my favourite sample so far! I love the combination of dry kibble and the freeze-dried raw chunks! My dog's coat is soft and shiny thanks to the great ingredients in the food and it's easy for him to eat even with his teeth problems. My family and friends were also impressed with the quality of this food. Would definitely recommend it.

I received a bag of the Fraser Valley Nutrience Grain Free Dog Food.
I actually have two dogs, (one big and one little) so they both tried it. At first to introduce it slowly, I gave them a handful as a treat and they both really seemed to enjoy it.
I mixed it in with their regular food and they ate every morsel.
I really like the fact that it is made with natural, real Canadian ingredients.
I also like the size and crunch, not too big or hard for my little one, but crunchy enough for my big one.
The only draw back is the price. I already feed my dogs a similar dog food and I pay a premium price for it.
Had the Nutrience been a little less expensive than my current brand I definitely would have given serious thought to switching brands.
If price is no object, I would definitely recommend this food.

Mickey my chihuahua absolutely loved the Nutrience Grain Free food, I received the Fraser Valley with fresh deboned chicken, turkey, wild caught pacific salmon, herring and cod. First of all I was pleased that the smell of the food was not awful for me, I have in the past purchased dog food that was of good quality but the smell was so awful that I couldn't stand feeding my dog so that was a plus to me. Secondly the size of the kibble was smaller so it worked well for my small dog but it also worked out fine when my daughter brought her larger dog over so this size of kibble works for a wide variety of dog breeds. One of the first things I noticed when I opened the bag was the freeze dried bits mixed in with the kibble, my dog seemed to especially like these, I even used these as treats for her, as much as these were a huge plus they were also the big disappointment of this product as it seems as they must have been lighter than the rest of the kibble as there weren't many of them and they seemed to be mostly on the top and seemed to disappear completely from the bag very quickly. I would purchase this food for my dog again as I like the ingredients in it and the size of the kibble as well as the smell the added bonus was that my dog and her play date both loved it but I would really like to see more of the freeze dried bits added plus them being being mixed in a better way through out the bag.

I did a lot of research on this food before accepting the bag for my girl to try. I was totally impressed with ingredients and reviews so I was excited. I have a 65lb female Husky who LOVES food of all kinds. I think it's hard to give a totally honest review based on the amount we were given to try. Unfortunately a 5lb bag when being mixed with her current food (to avoid upset stomach) wasn't a true indication for us. I found she was picking out the Nutrience pieces to eat her regular food, but if I gave her Nutrience pieces as "treats" she was over the moon excited. I am going to buy another bag to be able to give a proper review once she tries it w/o being mixed.

My dog LOVED this product, I was a bit worried initially because she does have a sensitive stomachs but she ate it willingly and it had no effect on her tummy at all! We will definitely be purchasing this product in the future!

We received a bag of Prairie Red to review. Our dog LOVED this new kibble! From the very first time we mixed it into her old kibble she hoovered it. She normally eats her kibble when she's gone through her wet food (we usually feed her another high quality made in Canada kibble and cans of wet food). But this kibble was like treats to her! We actually gave her a few pieces here and there as treats. Haha. That has us sold! We'll for sure be purchasing again.
