Nutrience Grain Free Sub Zero pet food is fantastic. My dog loves it very much. I may or may not switch my type of dog food as this is a bit pricey. Although def worth the try for sure. We got to try thee Fraser Valley kind and it is very good.
I was lucky enough to have the chance for my dog, Pixie to try out Nutirence Grain Free SubZero Dog Food in Fraser Valley formula for free. Pixie is a fussy eater and I was so surprised at how much she instantly liked it. I incorporated it initially as a treat and then added it to her old dog food. I noticed that she is has a slight increase in her energy level. I am very happy with Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Dog Food and I plan to purchase it in the future as I love the raw food booster and that it is a grain free dog food.
At first, I was a little bit worried about how my dog felt about this as I blended it with her current food to transition to this one, but soon enough she was picking out the freeze dried bits from this before everything else. Sometimes she can be really picky when it comes to food, but since she's completely transitioned to this food she gets really excited at meal time and devours it like it's dessert. I love the ingredients list in this and I absolutely love that she's getting those freeze dried bits. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future.
I received the Canadian Pacific for Dogs, which has amazing little freeze dried chunks of real fish! My dog absolutely loved this food. I received the Prairie Red flavor and mixed some in with his current food over a week as was directed. I can't say I noticed a difference in his overall health yet, or his energy level (he is a Boxer, so he is already a high energy dog) but I am definitely considering purchasing this food in the future just because of the ingredients. It doesn't cost much more than the current brand I buy. I think if I do purchase it I will try a different flavor just to see which one he prefers.
We tried Nutrience Grain free subzero dog food in the Prairie red flavour. Our dog loved it. I haven't seen him so happy to eat his kibble. He was so excited with the new food, he wouldn't stay still for a picture. We loved the quality ingredients like the freeze dried raw mixed with kibble. The added coconut oil is a big bonus especially during our Canadian winters and the dry skin that comes with it. Over all our dog and us loved it and we plan on continuing to buy it.
I wish this wasn't so pricey because my dog loves it! She devoured a bowl and had her head stuck in it before I even stopped pouring!
Charlay has a shiner softer coat after a week of eating this!
I am on a tight budget, otherwise it would be a welcome addition and I would definitely purchase in the future!
Formula: Prairie Red
Dog Breed: Japanese Chin
Nutrience Grain Free Subzero is wonderfully packaged in an attractive black re-closable bag, Thumbs up to the designer(s) of the logos, graphics, images and layout of the bag! I'm a sucker for quality attractive packaging.
My dog is a picky eater and seems to really enjoy this food, especially the freeze-dried pieces. The kibble size is a good size (not too big), they are a flat disc shape which makes it easier to chew/break.
I was concerned that switching him to another high protein food he might get the dreaded soft poop or diarrhea. The transition was easy, his poop is clean, not too soft or hard, and does not transfer and stick to his fur. When picking up his poop for disposal it is easy and clean and stays it’s shape.
My dog is as hyper and happy as usual still bouncing around with lots of energy, and still has beautiful glistening hair. His skin is still great and no allergic reactions.
I am happy with the ingredients and the names are fun since I am from the around the area the formulas are named after.
Some may find the price expensive especially ones with larger dogs that eat more, but I think the price is about the same as other quality dog foods. Also you don't need to feed them as much qty wise.
If you are looking for grain-free rich in protein dog food I recommend you try this.
I received Nutrience Grain Free SubZero - Fraser Valley formula dog food to try with my two medium sized dogs, courtesy of ChickAdvisor and Nutrience. My dogs could tell right away there was something tasty inside the bag! I was happy to learn SubZero is made of 38% protein; quite a difference from the brand we were using. I was also impressed with the added glucosamine and chondroitin for healthy hips and joints, as well as omega-3 and omega-6. The Nutriboost bits are freeze-dried raw food sources. My dogs ate these bits first! The smaller sized kibble and Nutriboost bits seemed to be a better size for them to chew. Stools were regular and consistent. Price seems to be in line with other high end brands. I was happy to learn that Nutrience has a "buy 10 bags, get one bag free" program. Nice to see the company offer perks to it's consumers. Great experience; thank you Nutrience and ChickAdvisor for the opportunity to review and open my eyes to a healthier better brand!
From the moment I brought the package into the house, my 6 month old German Shepherd puppy was hooked! She kept sniffing the box and looking at me...she knew something good was inside. I started her off slowly, as recommended, and Argo responded very well. As I slowly mixed her regular food in, I noticed she eats her whole bowl instead of picking away at it. Her energy level hasn't changed noticably, but she is a puppy ;) She loves the freeze dried fish bits especially. I am so glad she got to try this food!
I introduced the food as instructed and my dog did not have any issues. Right off the bat she seemed to have more energy and be able to go on longer walks. She's a 8 year old golden retriever so she is getting up there in age. She loved the food. Scared it down right away when put in her Bowl. No issues with eating! I did not notice and changes in her coat but I did in her overall demenor. I would for sure feed this to her again. The price is a little steep but with a coupon I would for sure buy it.
