Great lip balm

Although it is pricier than your regular lip balms (about $20) it is one of the best I've used. It is thicker and has a pleasant light sweet scent and comes in a sturdy glass jar. I like using it for nights, especially for colder weather since it keeps my lips moisturized longer.

Repurchased many times. Goes onto lips matte and thick. Very nourishing and luxurious. I am a little picky about lip balms. A lot of them seem to dry out my lips.

Not as amazing as I thought ...

I was so excited to purchase this. Although it is moisturizing, it didn't leave my lips super soft, even when I used it over night. The texture is a bit odd and the value for the money is definitely not there, even on sale. Try another lip product instead of this!

Not impressed.

Not impressed at all. Regardless the gorgeous ingredients, did a little bit for my lips. I wouldn't say is awfully bad, just meh. It kinda worked on my son's cracked lips, but did little for mine, I had the feeling of more dryness the next morning, my lips were like kinda stiff. Consistecy is like dry and stiff you need to melt it with the warmth of your fingers. I don't find it particularly moisturizing or balsamy.
I won't repurchase for sure. I've been using it in my cuticles, so is not all lost.

The Holy Grail of Holy Grails

I love this balm because its different than anything else i have. Its a balm and its moisturizing but its also dry and matte; all at the same time...I know - its a contradiction! Reve de Miel melts into the lip quickly and it’s texture almost instantly transforms into this ‘dryish’ matte finish, leaving your lips feeling nourished and protected. Girls who hate the gloss finish and the sticky aftermath WILL LOVE THIS! The initial grittiness will also helps exfoliate the lip surface as an added little bonus.
The texture might be a little off putting at first but once you are used to it this will be a necessity. The scent is mild to me and comforting to say the least - nothing too sweet or heady like some other honey-scented products. The best part is that you don’t have to reapply this every 5 minutes - this will last and keep your lips feeling great for a long time and you won’t even notice you are wearing it. I’ve repurchased it for years and it’s honestly the best lip balm I’ve ever used.

Best lip balm ever

I personally prefer the stick version of this lip balm but I keep the pot version on my end table and use it every night before bed. Both versions are just the most hydrating lip balms and feel so good! I’ve been through countless ones and will always repurchase.

It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it , I have very dry lips and I've tried so many things and this product works. Right as I apply it my lips feel so soft and the cracks are gone. It does have a thicker consistency but I like that it's not sticky and feels smooth on the skin! I definitely recommend this product .

Great for Canadian winter chapped lips!

I find this lip balm is really effective in the dry Canadian winter, it’s quite thick & has a little bit of a grainy texture to it almost like honey that’s been in the cupboard a bit too long?lol. Not so bad that it is annoying & I’m not sure if that’s typical or just the one I’ve had. It smells great & when I put it on at night I usually wake up with a little left on my lips & they’re soft. The one I bought the packaging offered a pin# to redeem free gifts with this purchase that would be mailed to you when you went online & registered the pin. Well, turned out it was only valid in France, so I emailed the company & they took my address & promised to send me some samples-still waiting & that was over a year ago! Not impressed with the company PR since it was just coming from the US. I prefer the stick lip balm just for ease of application as I hate sticking my finger in the pot, but it’s not as moisturizing.

Saved my dry lips

I am a daily lip balm user and apply all day long.... so I've tried pretty much everything possible. Recently I started a prescription to combat my extremely oily skin (is genetic) which has lead to my lips being more dry than usual. I saw good reviews on the Nuxe rêve de miel lip balm and thought I would give it a try. I have to say that I love this balm. It feels silky smooth & nourishing. Although I use it anytime of the day, when I wake up in the morning (after applying before bed) I feel as if it is slightly still on my lips (which has never before happened). It's a little pricy at $17.00 Canadian but if you are like me, price doesn't matter when results are great. You don't need much so I think the pot will last a long time.
