So disappointed

I normally love NYX, especially for brow products. As the sister brand of Urban Decay, they offer an affordable solution for a quality product. This one however is frustrating and disappointing. The other brow pencils in “auburn” are a lovely auburn shade which is perfect for me. I happily purchased this one however and questioned if they had ever met a redhead in person. It is orange, and by orange I mean theatrical orange. It wasn’t even close. Don’t buy online, make sure you see the colour in person first!

Disappointing

I bought this because it was on sale and I love the NYX micro-brow pencil and the brow cake. Starting with the pencil, I usually use a pencil when I want a more natural brow with strokes, but this just gives you a soft smudged look. The brow mascara was a disaster. I don't have a lot of eyebrow hairs, but I've used products that still worked for me. This had a watery but very pigmented formula and the shape of the wand did not make it any easier. However, I did enjoy the powder - the applicator is like a crayola marker so I just brushed it on for a 5 second eyebrow.

Not the best..

This was on sale so I decided to give it a try. I usually go for another eyebrow pencil from NYX but haven’t really tried another. This one was not my favourite and I really didn’t like it - had a lot of smudges, in fact even the cashier at a store advised me that my eye brow had smudged!! It is not sweat-proof nor water proof.

le crayon glisse sur les poils ce qui est assez bien en revanche la texture est dure a poser mais la prise en main est facile. Le crayon comble la totalite du sourcil ce qui perfectionne le look.

The product made my eyebrows too dark, other than the pencil

I only liked the brow pencil part. The marker made my eyebrows super dark, and the brow mascara made my brows smudgy and stiff. Overall was okay but I rather just buy a brow pencil

Je n'ai pas particulièrement aimé le 3-en-1 de NYX. Malgré un bon choix de couleur, il ne semble pas avoir une teinte qui me convienne. L'embout du crayon est vraiment trop gros et la formule du gel teinté est très liquide. J'ai aussi trouvé que le crayon s'utilisait plus difficilement puisque le produit est très long!

I always buy NYX micro brow pencil and it works wonders for me. So when I saw this 3-in-1 brow product I thought it would be a great replacement for the micro pencil as it came with a tinted brow gel. I really wish NYX would re-design this product and sharpen the pencil itself. It is so thick and large that it makes it impossible to define your brows. The little sponge that is supposed to help you "thicken" the brow hairs and add some depth is also way too large in order to create nice looking brows. The gel was good, cannot say anything bad about it.
Unless you have large wide eyebrows, perhaps you may find this product usable. I personally had to return it back to the store and grab micro brow pencil instead.
If only there was that micro brow pencil with tinted eyebrow gel and a spoolie all in one - that would be the 3-in-1 NYX product that I would love and recommend.
P.s. I bought shade taupe and it was way too dark, much darker than usual!
