I bought six NYX Jumbo eye pencils from Cherry Culture thinking they would be good bases that could substitute for primers, but boy was I wrong! You need to use a very good primer with these or else they crease like crazy!! Well at least on me they do since I have oily eyelids. The price was very reasonable for these $3.50, way better than the MAC shadesticks which are $20. I tried 3 different primers (TFSI, UDPP, and MAC PPs) to see which one would make this stick on without creasing. And I finally found that MAC Paint Pots (in Painterly) is the best primer to use under this! What a journey! I went to work and the mall with ugly greasy eye lids so many times before I could make this work! It's a difficult product to work with and it shouldn't be getting all these rave reviews.
These jumbo pencils by NYX might be my favorite thing in my whole makeup collection! They are so creamy and easy to apply, even a beginner could do it. The first one I bought was the whitest color and I used it to highlight my browbone. Well i became obsessed with it so I went out and purchased them in more colors. I just love how they are so multifunctional! I use them for eyeliner, highlighting, and even blend them in to use them as an eyeshadow. This may be NYX's best product in stock!
This is one of my favourite products to wear! They make perfect bases to help make the colours of your eyeshadows more vibrant. They are also great to wear just as a cream shadow or as eyeliner for a pop of colour!
I found my NYX Jumbo eye pencil in colour Milk in my post box today and I was so glad to finally try it because I've heard only good words about it. So, to begin with, I ordered it from Ebay about a week ago and I found it pretty pricey for an eye pencil (it costs 5£ !) but it turns out that it was totally worth it. The colour is very bright and creamy, it applies very smoothly and barely creases, so it works perfectly as an eye shadow primer. The only thing I disliked was the packaging, it is very difficult to sharpen, because the base is not wooden, but plastic. :C But I'm about to depot it anyway, so it's alright, that way I get to save a lot of product. Overall NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk is definitely worth to not only lay your eyes on, but also to lay it on your eyes.
Love these liners, especially as an eyeshadow base. They do need a primer under them otherwise they crease, which happens with everything for me anyway.
Milk is great for a base with bright shadows or shadows that aren't very pigmented - it really makes them pop.
Great creamy, blendable product, and I'd recommend them to anyone with an eyeshadow primer.
These are really great liners for the price. I love that they come in so many colours, are really easy to apply, and give a nice smudged look really easily. They're very no-fuss and last a long time.
Got one of these not too long ago and am really liking it. I got it in a darker shade of brown so I use it mostly as liner right now, but i'm going to try some funkier shades for more of a liner&shadow;together.
