I would probably buy this again!

The NYX Powder Puff Lippies have a sponge like cushion applicator with a fat rounded tip. This rounded edge makes precise application really hard and it’s not very easy to apply the lipstick evenly on the corner of the lips. It’s easier to wear these lipsticks after defining your lips with a lip liner so that the lips only need to be filled. These lipsticks have a soft, mousse-y texture which feels extremely comfortable on the lips. However, I found that the formula wasn’t very consistent across the range when it came to coverage. The shades ‘Squad Goals’ and ‘Pop Quiz’ were a bit streaky when applied and needed multiple coats for even application. I also felt that this applicator added to the uneven application as it made the lipstick move around the lips.The lipsticks stay true to their name and dry down to a powder like finish. They are not extremely matte and feel comfortable on the lips without drying them down. The NYX Powder Puff Lippies don’t accentuate any dryness on the lips and don’t settle in the fine lines. These lippies remind me of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in terms of the formula.

Staying Power: The NYX Powder Puff Lippies are not transfer proof and have very inconsistent formulas.The shades ‘Squad Goals’ and ‘Cool Intentions’ stayed put on the lips for 3-4 hours with light snacking and then started fading away from the centre of the lips. The shade ‘Moody’ also stayed put on the lips for 3 hours but instead of fading away evenly, the colour started bleeding and gave me a weird ring of colour around my lips. It was like the water and the lip pigment were separating. The shade ‘Pop Quiz’ started bleeding around my lips in just 1 hour of application. I had to take the lipstick off and apply something else as it looked unappealing. However, none of these lipsticks will stay put through a proper meal as they are not matte lipsticks and they rub off pretty easily. My Overall Experience:

Even though the NYX Powder Puff Lippies look like a fun lipstick to own with the unique cushion applicator and nice shades, I was left a little disappointed with them. The formulas were inconsistent, they didn’t last very long and some shades started bleeding around my lips. I would probably only re use 2 out of the 4 shades I own but they would not be my first choice when it comes to picking up a lipstick. I feel that NYX has many more lipstick formulas which are definitely better than these and have more colour options as well. So from my side, I would not recommend these lipsticks, especially if you are looking for a long lasting lipstick.

This lipstick is amazing ! It’s easy to apply ! You can get this in many different colors ! The texture is great as well ! I would recommend it to try it out

Best subtle lip colour ever!!

These powder puffs are actually amazing, they are so soft on the lips and subtle but can be built up for a more vibrant colour. The more nude shades are a perfect your lips but better colour and I wear these every time I wear makeup but don’t want to go too heavy

Transfers Easily

I really liked the texture of this product at first, but it is hard to apply without it bleeding. Perhaps with a lip liner, this problem would be resolved, but generally, as the powder puff is quite large it makes it easy to mess up when applying. I also found that it didn't dry down very well and transferred onto things if touched. I do like how it feels on the lips, however, as it is not drying. I'd be interested to see if different colours and pigments behave differently.

It's part of my bag

The only time I’ve seen an applicator like this is with the Too Faced Melted lipsticks but this one is a lot rounder whereas the Too Faced ones are more slanted which is why I think those would be easier to apply but I feel like I’d really like these because the product is a bit easier to control and just enough comes out when you press it instead of everything coming out. I really like the finish and feel, not at all drying. It’s more of a creamy matte finish so it’ll last a couple of hours unless you eat or drink something

These lippies are so versatile! You can put a little for a more natural look, more for a more polished look, or do a gradient. They aren't necessarily long lasting, but some colors last longer than others. I reapply throughout the day and often receive compliments about my matte lipsticks. You can hardly tell that you're wearing lipstick. Besides longevity, the only other issue is that they're a bit drying, so I use balm underneath occasionally. The price point is great.

Soft and lovely on lips

Shade moody is absolutely lovely on my lips, its a great shade, long lasting, matt and vibrant which is what I like. I use this with a liner and it stays put even after drinking lots and eating throughout the day. This is a good high street, drug store range of products which are affordable.

Amazing Formula

I love this new NYX lippie! If you are looking for a smooth, lightweight lipstick, I would definitely recommend this. You have full control of the intensity and it creates somewhat of a k-beauty lip look. For those that aren't a fan of reapplying their lipstick several times throughout the day, definitely add this long-lasting lippie to your make-up bag!

Feels like a more expensive product

The cushion tip helps with silky smooth application. Easy to use tube. My lips stayed moist and didn’t dry out. It’s not gooey or messy and easy to apply just the right amount of colour. For the price this feels like a more expensive product. Soft luxurious feel to my lips.

Best formula

i like this product because you can use it multiple ways. the formula is amazing super soft, matte but wont make your lips look dry at all.

i like to use as a stain sometime by just dabbing some product on to my lips with my finger tips.

i also like to use it as full coverage with a lip liner and just double layer it. ( it looks so soft and beautiful)

i have also tried it as a blush, just take some product and apply to your cheeks with fingertips/brush and it looks so natural and beautiful on the skin.
