Pretty good

I received NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Cannabis Sativa Oil Brow Setter free from Chick Advisor for my honest review. I definitely liked this product and thought the value was good. However, I found that the brush applicator was too small and it didn’t allow enough product to get on the brush. I didn’t notice the benefit of the cannabis sativa oil based on other similar products that I’ve tried. Overall, the product worked but I didn’t find it overly special.

Not Ideal for Dark Brows

I was very excited to receive this product complimentary to test in exchange for my honest review. I use brow products daily - usually even on my ‘no makeup days’. I have light-to-medium brown hair and brows. I have been faithfully using a few key products for years now that has a very similar applicator, so I was curious to give this a chance. I’ll admit when I first opened the tube, I was expecting the product to be clear. It turned me off of the product right away. After filling my brows with a darker colour and applying this product, my brows turned lighter due to the white formula on my brows. I was so disappointed. I really love products like this and I do hope that NYX expands their formula to a clear or coloured brow setter. This product would be great for those with light hair colours, but unfortunately was not an ideal product for me.

Good but there are cheaper options

I don't really wear brow make up as I had my eyebrows microbladed. I normally use a clear mascara to tame my wild hairs. While this did the exact same as clear mascara, the brush was really small, which is good to not get too much product on the your brows but I found myself having to use a spoolie to comb the hair first. An extra step I wasn't used to. I didn't notice any difference with the sativa seed oil and am not sure how beneficial it would be for brows. Would I buy this? Yes, if it's cheaper than clear mascara otherwise thanks, i'll pass.

Basic Brow Setter

Great alternative to a premium brow setter - does what it says it's going too! Brows stay in place all day, I like more of a tint personally! But works fine.

Keeps my brows in place!

I never purchase brow setters as I don't find my brows to be unruly naturally. I was excited to receive this product though because NYX is a great brand I wanted to see what the hype was all about with cannabis seed oil.
The brush is very small, and not a lot of product comes out. I've seen some reviews that say that's an issue, but I personally think it's okay. You don't want a lot of product to come out at once because then your brows will be just covered in the product and brushing it out will only make it worse.
As much as the product seems to be good, I don't personally need it or see myself purchasing it. Also not sure why this type of product needs the addition of cannabis seed oil..

Could be better

This brow setter had a waxy texture that I wasn't really fond of. MAybe I'm just more used to the gel type. Application wise, nothing unusual. I found that it didn't set as well as I had hoped and half way through my day, I'd have to touch it up again. I got this free to try from chickadvisor.

Ok conditioner

I tested this product a few times and didn't find it very effective. It takes many attempts to put the wand in and out to get a little product on the brush to apply effectively. Even when I apply it, compared to other brow conditioners I have used, it doesn't do what I need it to do. I found that my eyebrows had many flyaways and didn't stay down throughout the day. I also found the product to be weak and not as good as other conditioners I have used. I would not recommend.

Hair left with "white cast"

When testing this product, I used it after filling in my eyebrows to provide dimension to each brow hair. Similar to the very on-trend "soap brows", this product is suppose to hold hairs in place throughout the day. In my experience, the initial application was quite easy and dummy proof. The wand separated each brow hair and held it in place. It was a "flexible hold" if you were to compare it to hairsprays. Shortly after however, to my dismay I noticed that the hold was not strong enough; my brow hairs had fallen significantly back to their original state. By the end of the day after evaluating my brows even further, I noticed that my brow hairs appeared to have a white cast. I was so embarrassed to have walk around the office all day not realizing it. With these 2 faults, I really wouldn't recommend this product and think there are better alternatives, even if that means resorting to bar soap or hairspray.

Unfortunately doesn't seem to work on me

I'm kind of confused with this product because the application brush is so tiny that I can't seem to get any products out of the tube and on to my brows??? I tried it 3 times now it it hasn't been effective at all for application. So the product itself could be good but the application is really awkward and tough as the brush is so tiny and barely any products come out. I am disappointed as I really wanted to see if this could work.

J'ai bien aimer ce produit mais sans plus, je ne vois pas l'utiliter de ce produit dans ma routine maquillage. Si ce produit était légerement coloré ce serait un plus, malheureusement il ne l'ai pas. Malgré tout, l'application est facile et l'odeur est bien.
