It’s cool

I received this free for testing purposes from NYX and chickadvisor - all thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a big in between for me, I hated the texture but it looked cool, it’s such a neat idea I love the packaging but the feeling of it on my hands just felt SO weird
It was very cooling on the skin which felt really nice, and it applied well but took quite awhile to dry down and it was a bit sticky, I feel like it would work better for more oily skin.
It didn’t really pore fill however the makeup did last quite well with it on.

I definitely didn’t hate it, I just don’t know if I loved it.

Worked for me and my dry skin

This primer has a unique texture, not like any skincare I've used before, and especially not a primer. It really does feel like jelly, and they give you a nice sized amount in the jar. Application is pretty easy, although product does dry fairly quickly (although stays tacky, but is no longer spreadable after). I didn't feel like this was the most hydrating product I've used, but definitely not bad. It ultimately did make my skin feel less dry, and it did keep my foundation on pretty well!

Feel pretty neutral about this one

This seems like a fairly good quality product. I've never used a jelly primer before and I must admit it was a little bit difficult to get an even amount out of the tub using just my fingertips and without getting it all up my nails!

This made my skin look quite nice after using it, but since I have oily skin this was just a little bit too greasy for my liking. I wouldn't choose it over the primer I currently use.

Very Nice Primer

I love the consistency of this product; I usually take a bit of the product in my hands and warm it up before applying it to my face. It allows my makeup to apply smoothly onto my face. I’m not 100% sure about the effectiveness of helping to make your makeup last longer, but I have no complaints about this product.

A great drugstore option

I like this jelly primer from nyx. I think it's a great option if you want a jelly primer without paying for a high end one. The quality is great as well as the packaging.

Cool primer

This primer is such a cool texture, it feels like jello! But it does feel hydrating and It did a good job with the wear of my foundation. Would recommend this product!

Great texture and hydration

I don't usually bother with a primer because as someone with very oily skin, I rarely need the extra moisturizing and mattifying or long-wear primers always seem cakey underneath other products. This one is light enough to feel comfortable, and I did feel like it helped the makeup last a little longer. The gel texture is pretty neat and the scent isn't overwhelming. I really hate the container it comes in, it feels very unsanitary to stick your fingers repeatedly into something that goes on your face. I would've preferred a pump bottle or at least have a little scoop provided, especially considering this product costs over $20, which I think is a little expensive for a drug store brand.

Interesting Texture

I don't usually use primers but I'm pleasantly surprised by how well this one works. Since I have oily skin and the primer is hydrating, I skipped my usual face cream and used this product instead. I found after using it a couple days in a row it made my skin breakout as I'm guessing it didn't let my skin breathe enough. The texture was not what I expected but I really liked it actually. Because its its jelly you only need a very small amount to cover your entire face.

Great basic primer

This texture of this primer definitely threw me off at first as it is a jelly. However, once you put it on, it is very easy to apply and goes onto the skin quite nicely. I love that it absorbs right away and does not make the skin greasy or oily at all so you can apply makeup right away. For the price, this product is really great value, especially since you do not need a lot of it. It is also an unscented product, which is great for anyone with skin sensitivities.

Great texture!

I normally skip primer because I dont feel like it helps anything with my makeup application or longevity but I looove the thicker jelly texture of this one! All the primers I've ever tried were creams or liquids so this one really stands out. A little goes a long way too so I Think this jar is going to last me a while. I also like how lightweight it is. I have oily skin but this doesn't feel heavy at all :) *i recieved this for free to review but all opinions are my own!*
