Affordable + does what it claims

At $14 this is pretty affordable for a drugstore setting spray. I've found it helps set my makeup and make it last longer (i have combo skin), and it works well as a makeup refresher throughout the day and gives a good glow.

Very very light scent, great spray

What I liked most about this spray is that it wasn't heavily scented. It was barely noticeable and for me that is a huge plus. The spray was very refreshing and seemed to really help keep the makeup in place with the use of the jelly primer. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Definitely works, your makeup won't be going anywhere.

Setting spray is a newer venture for me as I have dry skin, so my makeup typically stays in place. However, I have been noticing that it sometimes fades by the time I get home from work, and i have to reapply before a night out. I have been religiously using this setting spray for the last few weeks and I am so impressed with my results. It helps to keep my makeup in place and it does not dry me out. My friend with oily skin also gave it a shot and it helped her face stay dry and her makeup put. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. Perfect for multi tasking

I received this product from the product review club. All reviews are my own opinions. I love this spray ! It’s a great primer, and setting spray as well as a refreshing mist. The scent is nice and light and it sets very nicely if wearing makeup. Thanks for the chance to try this chick advisor!

La texture, la senteur, le résultat! Le matin, après mon réveil, je rafraîchit mon visage avec quelques vaporisation du Bare with me. Plus tard dans la journée, je l’utilise après mon maquillage.

Pretty effective

I got this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I prefer using this product as a setting spray instead of a primer to get a fuller coverage. The packaging is cute and portable so I would carry it with me to keep my skin hydrated.

Pause, spray, refresh, repeat!

A very good product that hydrates my skin for hours and hours. It has a relaxing mild citrus scent, no sting or irritation and every spray refreshes my make up. Holidays are coming and I will be very busy so I really need this NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BARE WITH ME PRIME. SET. REFRESH. MULTITASKING SPRAY. I’m also planning to try this on my Halloween make up soon. I just wish it will be available in small travel size container to bring inside the aircraft where it’s too dry specially during long flights. I use it weather I have make up off or make up on. In the photo, I was one of the bridesmaids on my friend’s wedding and I’m wearing it from 8 o’clock in the morning and my make up was still impeccable till nighttime. I also used NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BARE WITH ME HYDRATING GELLY PRIMER under the make up and NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BARE WITH ME TINTED SKIN VEIL and it kept my makeup looking natural and fresh for long hours. I strongly recommend it.

Great multitasking spray!

I like this spray! I like that it is a multipurpose spray to prime, set and refresh. As a primer, it hydrates my skin and prepares it for a smooth application. I think it does help to set my makeup since it is hydrating so my makeup looks more natural. It doesn't do much for oiliness though, because I still get oily after a few hours but my makeup does seem to stay in place. It is great to use when I feel like I need a refreshment or some extra hydration, or if I've put too much powder on my face.

It's scent-free, which is great. The spray nozzle doesn't mist as well as other setting sprays so I have to spray it quite a few times to make sure I've covered my whole face.

Overall, I like this spray and I'll continue to use it.

Multipurpose product!

I'm a sucker for multipurpose products, especially when they work, and this is one of them. I got to try it for free as part of the ChickAdvisor review program and here are my thoughts:

This is a combination of primer, setting spray, and refreshing spray.

I have tried it as a setting spray alone and have found that it does the job quite well. Make up stays on, doesn't cake, and I did get a bit of a hydrating feeling. I did find that I don't have much control over how evenly it is applied when it's sprayed, so I think I will stick to other primers for that reason.

As a setting spray, it does its job beautifully. Makeup stays on in place, doesn't smear, and I didn't find the spray to have a shiny finish despite being hydrating.

I don't really use refreshing mists often so it's hard for me to say, but I have reapplied it as a setting spray and found that it doesn't lather on or build up feeling heavy or sticky either, which was nice.

This is also a larger bottle than most setting sprays at NYX so it will last a long time and that's a huge bonus in my eyes. I have slightly sensitive skin and I had no issues with this product. It's not particularly fragrant and feels light.

I'm not sure if it's just my bottle or all of them are like that, but the nozzle is a bit aggressive. The spray direction is quite localized rather than spread out like a full mist so it took a couple of tries to get used to so that I don't end up messing up my makeup instead.

What made it stand out over other sprays is that my finishing powder often still has a tendency to rub off a little on things that touch my face even after setting spray and I'm guilty or resting my head on my hand a lot or hugging people taller than I am and having my face on their shoulder. With this one, it didn't seem to do that, makeup stayed on my face. And it held on my nose bridge after I wore glasses!

Love setting sprays!

I love setting sprays because I use them before makeup, after and throughout the day to add extra hydration. This has a really mild smell that is nice and refreshing but too overpowering.
It helps keep my skin dewy instead of matte.
