One of my new favourite

I got this product for free in exchange for an honest review. For me this product is more like a tinted moisturizer. It’s super convenient for everyday quick makeup. The shade matches my skin perfectly as well

The product does what it promises

I got to try this product for free (thanks ChickAdvisor!) and I do think it's something I will be purchasing in the future.

Note: this is a veil. It's tinted, but it's a veil, not foundation.

This is the real "no makeup" makeup and I'm still slightly bamboozled at how it works. On one hand, this hydrating veil smooths out your skin providing light coverage and masking imperfections, while on the other, the tint is light and doesn't change the texture of your skin to that typical foundation look. It keeps your skin looking like you simply have naturally very nice skin which is incredible as it goes beyond what a veil normally offers.

I was impressed with how well the colour sent to me blended with my actual skin tone. When I put it on my hand I thought it had the wrong undertones or was too light, but when I put it on, it blended right in.

The product really is lightweight, I did not feel it at all, and thought it's quite breathable. I did find it a little shiny at first (it is hydrating), but that does fade to more of a glow and you can easily put finishing powder on it if you prefer a matte finish. A makeup veil is meant to increase moisture retention and this one is hydrating on top of that. It's ideal if you have dry skin. I have slightly sensitive skin and found no issues with it at all. In fact, I find that it's a great substitute for morning moisturizer if you're short for time and can't wait for it to absorb.

This veil doesn't cake or streak. It did not, at all, streak for me, so I was very impressed. If you find it streaks, it might actually be creasing and you need either a primer or a pore filler if the primer didn't fix it.

A little of it goes a long way, so you won't need much to cover your face.

This tinted veil is definitely meant to be used as a veil or for light coverage and nothing else. It does not build up to provide full coverage because that's not what it's meant to do. It's a veil, a base, not full foundation. A veil is meant to prevent your skin from losing moisture throughout the day and is applied along with primer. This one happens to be hydrating and tinted on top of that to smooth out imperfections and provide light coverage to start you off or be a veil and coverage combo for those who wear only light coverage to begin with.

I think it's a little unreasonable those who received it for free and are used to wearing medium to full coverage are leaving it negative reviews for not being something they normally use for coverage when this product simply isn't meant to be that. I think they don't understand that a tinted veil is still a veil, not foundation. It will not provide a perfectly flawless airbrushed look despite your skin condition like full coverage foundation does. A veil is meant to increase moisture retention for your skin. It's used for priming your face. This one also offers additional hydration and light coverage to smooth out imperfections for a natural, barefaced look and that's exactly what it does. If you need full coverage, this is your base, put your foundation on top. Using a veil should be part of priming your face if you wear full coverage.

If you wear light coverage or have dry skin and want a little extra hydration while priming, this is for you. I highly recommend it. If you wear medium to full coverage, this veil is a good addition to use as base along with your primer if use matte products that have a tendency to dry out your skin.

Full coverage but barely there.

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BARE WITH ME TINTED SKIN VEIL has full coverage to hide all skin unevenness and imperfections. It has a satiny luminous finish and it feels so mild that I don’t even feel it’s there, unlike other make up that cracks and looks obviously cakey afterwards. I like the pink container as well and especially the way the opening narrows down so no accidental spills. In the photo, I was one of the bridesmaids on my friend’s wedding and I’m wearing it from 8 o’clock in the morning and my make up was still impeccable till nighttime. I also used NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BARE WITH ME HYDRATING GELLY PRIMER under the make up and NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BARE WITH ME PRIME. SET. REFRESH. MULTITASKING SPRAY and it kept my makeup looking natural and fresh for long hours. I highly recommend it.

Surprise foundation!

I received it for free from NYX and chick advisor last month and It surprises me! It matches with my skin color (vanilla nude) very well. I spent all day walking through the orchard and it still during after that! It makes my skin breath and looks luminous in my pictures. I love that great surprise! NYX nailed it! Thanks for the opportunity!

Really nice coverage!

I received this product for free to try #freeproduct. I was really pleasantly surprised with this product! It provided such a flawless amount of coverage and yet still looks like skin.
It was really easy to apply with my fingers, on days where my cheeks are a bit pink or I have slight discolouration I just use a bit in the areas I need instead of all over the face and it blends in so nicely to my skin.
This is a great affordable option! Love it!
It gives such an even complexion when used on the whole face and looks really nice!

Love the way it feels

I love this. I find that it’s very light weight but it gives me enough coverage. I also find that it lasts all day. I have oily skin but I haven’t had a problem with it breaking up or my face looking super oily by the end of the day.

No makeup makeup!

If you are looking for light coverage then this is for you. This veil skin tint provides a beautiful light fresh faced look with a perfect dewy finish . I love how lightweight it feels and the finish it provides when applied with a beauty blender and finished with prime set refresh also by nyx. Highly recommend it. Natural

I got this product for free in order to test and review it. This tinted skin veil is as its name suggests ,its breathable face base which is wonderful for light coverage. It pairs perfectly with the jelly primer . I personally ike to apply it using my fingers for natural finish but I do use a foundation brush if I want a little bit more coverage. I don’t like to set it with powder since my skin is dry. You can use a powder to set it if you have oily skin and if so that its doesn’t turn into a oily mess. Overall really happy and would recommend this for all akin types as It is a great, moisturizing tinted moisturizer cream at the drugstore.

Better BB cream

I got this product complimentary from Chick Advisor for testing and review. The tinted skin veil though lacks in shade range. But works well with my skin tone. Gives skin a no makeup make up like finish. Good if you don't want heavy foundation but just a nice base for the day.

Great light coverage

This tinted skin veil claims to provide a fresh faced look, with a breathable, weightless formula that lasts for 8 hours. For me, it definitely checked all my boxes. If I'm going to wear a foundation, I usually reach for something light to even out my skin tone without feeling like I'm wearing a heavy, cakey product so this was perfect for me. This product is supposed to have a satin finish but on my skin it was quite matte. I applied this with a blending sponge and I added some facial oil to give it a more dewy look. For me, this is a great product, checks most of my boxes and isn't going to hurt my wallet. The only thing I wish is there was more of a skin tone range.
