NYX Rust.|
Brick red color. Very metallic-y
Blends out to almost a pink color if you dont use primer.
I have green eyes so I personally love it. You have to know how to use it though or it blends out into almost a piok eye look. I use a primer and then use a red lipstick ( i use nyx snow white) then apply this over top and it looks amazing.
I have a lighter skintone so that might be why. Maybe wih a tan it would be more workable.
I personally prefer the Rust JEP from NYX. I bet this would look really good applied over top of that pencil. I will try it out and review it.
This review pertains to the "Love in Rio" trio pallet. My pallet is the "Segredos De Giselle" which has a shimmery peach, beige, bronze. The colours are pretty and rather pigmented. I would recommend using an eyeshadow primer for most colour payoff and lasting ability.
These eyeshadows are GREAT -- especially from the drugstore. They come in a very wide variety of colors and finishes, which is absolutely amazing, as you don't see that from many drugstore brands. The shadows are very pigmented and the texture is very smooth and soft. Also there are SO SO SO MANY DUPES for high end shadows in NYX Shadows ... you can get all the high end colours for a third of the price ... I love these are recommend them to everybody!

I like the texture and the color, last all day
I have the silver grey color... I really like it a lot
I recommend it
I have a few of these shadows - mostly brown tones - iced mocha and such and I really like them.
They have lots of option (at Rexall, I don't think they are available at Shopper's yet). and there is a quite a lot of product in the pan.
Some of the shadows, especially the glittery ones do have some fallout, but I find that is common with glittery ones from other brands also.
If you haven't given them a try, I would definitely pick some up and and give them a try. I really like NYX products in general.
I have a few of the loose pigments, and they wear well. I tend to dab my brush in some water to create more of a gelled look. I love the variety of colors they offer also!
I use the black eyeshadow with a pointed brush as my eyeliner! Lasts all day and is far superiod to any eyeliner i've ever bought/used!
NYX is one of my favorite brands of cosmetics! I have more of their eyeshadows than anything else, they get two thumbs up for: pigmentation, unique color selection, they last all day, they are affordable, nice packaging. I love NYX eyeshadows!
I have Nyx Eyeshadows in a couple of colours. I love the variety of the colours they have. I would definitely recommend Nyx as a less expensive alternative to a brand like Make Up Forever or Mac because of the variety of colours. That being said, the pigmentation is good but not great. If you want long lasting, real punchy colours you always have to pay more.
I found that these eye shadows are a bit on the chalky side and can be kind of crumbly. Not a great descriptive word, by that I mean that you get a lot of cast off and sometimes the shadow is streaky. For $6 though, they aren't a bad buy.
