These are the absolute WORST
So I got these over the summer, thinking wow so many in one box, they’re going to last forever. Well, there is a reason why there are so many in one box. You’ll be changing your tampons everyone two hours maybe less. I got supers because my flow is always a little heavier in the beginning and obviously if it can handle heavy then I’ll just wear them on light days too. It was a work day the first day I used them and well, I was on the bus for an hour. Let’s just say about 40 minutes in leakage started. I got off the bus and ran into work and cleaned up and changed. Went to my desk and started my task about an hour and a half later, leaking again. After getting up every two hours or less to change, the next day I decided this was not at all worth the hype and went to buy regular degular Kotex super. They lasted me about 4-5 hours on average just to give you an idea of how badly these tampons suck.
Better for the environnement
These are definitely better for the environnement since they don't have the applicator portion to throw away. As for the tampon itself, they are just okay, nothing special. I find that the do leak easier because the string is so small and non absorbent. A side, from that, they work fine. I would recommend for those more eco-conscious.
I've never been in so much pain.
I switched to OB tampons because they're more environmentally friendly. But I regret my purchase, they're extremely painful to insert and once insert I stayed in pain. I wouldn't recommend these
Unhygienic
I go out of my way to use these. No applicators, you use your fingers. I just find this highly unhygienic and even uncomfortable.
Playtex all the way
Not for me
Recently gave these another shot and they are just not for me. I don't find them overly effective or comfortable, however it is nice that they are small so easily transported. I will keep a box on hand for when I'm going out with a small purse, however they don't do the trick for regular use.
I’m not a fan of tampons I wouldn’t buy this product
I would buy it again, that’s just me. I’m not comfortable with using tampons let alone one without an applicator. I have been using pads for the last 2 years because of medical reasons. I wanted to try and give these another try but I felt uncomfortable.
Absorbent tampons but no applicator.
If you're looking for an absorbent tampon these work great. The only thing I dislike about this brand is they don't have an applicator. It might work well for someone that has a very light flow but anyone that has a moderate to heavy flow like myself these can get messy. For that reason I will not repurchase this brand. However these are great for anyone who is environmentally friendly. They are also very small making them easily portable and easy to hide. As much as I like the environmentally friendly aspect I would not be able to use these for hygienic reasons. The mess and hassle of the application is too much for me. I like my tampons to have applicators.
Why is this a thing?
These tampons make no sense to me. I do not like the idea of having to stick my fingers up inside myself. Especially during menstruation. They are also very hard and uncomfortable. Wont buy.
O.B Tampons ; Non merci !
Nope. Just nope.
I couldn't get over the mess and awkwardness of application. Its not a product I can toss in my purse and use while out because of the mess. The tampon is self is fine. It did its job well and removal was fine but I can't get past the lack of applicator. Kudos to those who can, but I'm not one of them.
