I received the Offly Fast Removal Kit courtesy of ChickAdvisor after having had a CND Shellac Manicure. I decided to use it on day 15 of my manicure, which had held up surprisingly well after 2 weeks. I followed the instructions exactly as they were written, only to end up with nail polish that was mostly still on after I removed the foil. i feel that is I had left it on for perhaps longer than the advised 8 minutes, that I would have had more success. As it was, I had to spend a lot of time digging at the polish with the included stick to get it off. I worried about the damage I was doing to my nails. I had to use additional remover afterwards and a buffer to try to smooth my nails out. Next time, I would definitely opt for the $10 removal option at the salon instead.

Sidenote: NOTE that the SolarOil contains almond oil. I didn't realize this until I was applying after getting the polish off, and the smell of almond hit me. I hurriedly washed my hands as my son has nut allergies.

I received this product for free as apart of the product review club. first off, the instructions for the offly fast removal kit were easy and clear to understand. The removal process was fast and worked very well on removing my shellac manicure. The polish was removed offly fast just as the name suggested, and my nails appeared to look healthy and there was no damage. i would definitely recommend this at-home removal kit to a friend. It works and it is easy to use!

The removal kit instructions are very easy to understand and the process is very simple. I followed the instructions and 8 minutes are not enough to remove the Shellac nail polish. I spend around double of the time to make sure the nail polish was removed, but a couple of nails it was impossible to remove 100%. The nails appeared okay and the finish oil for nails and cuticles makes all the difference.
I would not recommend this kit for a friend for two main reasons:
    1) Availability: I looked in some places as Shoppers, Beauty Supplies and beauty stores and I couldn't find the removal kit
    2) I researched on the internet and the average price is $8-$10, but it wasn't very effective and you need more than 8 minutes to remove the Shellac. Some salons didn't charge to remove or charge around $10, but the place make sure that the nail polish was removed completely.

Shellac remover kit works way better than any other at home shellac removal that I've used. And I've used many. It's pretty hassle free and fast. Love the cuticle oil!! Just wish that the brush was softer and maybe a bit shorter.

I received this kit after receiving a free shellac manicure from Chickadvisor and CND Shellac. The salon told me it is $10 to remove a manicure, or free if you decide to get a new set. I should have opted to do that. I used my removal kit exactly 14 days after getting my manicure, and I left it on 3 minutes longer then recommended. When I went to remove the foil, so much was left behind on my nails that no amount of scrubbing was removing it. I have ridgy nails and the shellac is just embedded inside them. Now, I'll have to go to the salon anyways to have it removed. I wouldn't buy this again.

I received this kit to review after getting a complimentary Shellac manicure. It worked great and was super easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 for everything is because I don't normally find these kits necessary to remove my Shellac polish- I generally wear mine to the point that edges start to lift and the Shellac lifts off in one easy peel. If I wasn't keeping my Shellac on that long, though, then I'd definitely need this kit because it doesn't peel as easily otherwise.

I got a really good manicure at Lux Spa in Yorkville, great place and the mani lasted just over 2 weeks before I got a chip. Could not have been happier.

I used this kit to remove it, which at first I thought was a great idea - everything you need in a small box. I followed the instructions and it barely removed pieces of the nail polish, at best 1/3 of the nail polish. The rest just remained there, was a mess as it was coming off in layers and so little at once. iI was hard to remove even with the stick, so I used my nail to scrape it off. It took over 20 minutes after the leaving the foil on for 10 minutes, so in total over 30 minutes to remove everything and so so much work.

Leaving the foil with cotton pad on longer did not work either. I was also left with an odd residue on my nails, I am guessing it is the top coat that was put on, which did not look good. My nails also got a bit damaged from the scraping, and looked a little rough, and not matter what I did, they did not feel smooth. I agree this kit does need a buffer or something to smooth your nails afterwards.

The only thing I like from this kit is the little solar oil, which did make my nails look a bit better and I am hoping will undo some of the damage since it is a conditioner.

Overall, I would not buy this again or recommend it to others, it was too expensive and did not work. It does seem like a great idea in theory.

It's no secret getting shellac off is more of a process than regular polish (but totally worth the extra mani time!) Whether you go back to a nail salon to have removed professionally or do it yourself at home, you usually soak a cotton pad in pure acetone, place over your nail, wrap in foil for a few minutes which makes it flake/puff up/off, and then scrape off the excess. I tried out the CND Offly Fast remover kit, which I was a cool idea because there aren't other "kits" like this on the market that I've seen. Overall, it's not bad - it gives you all the supplies you need (acetone remover, pre cut foil sheets with built in cotton pad, orange wood stick and conditioning oil for afterwards). I followed the directions which said to keep the soaked pads in foil on your nails for 8 minutes before removing. It mostly came off? But I found it left a lot of polish still stuck to my nail (and I soaked the pads well!). It probably would work better if you left it on for 10 minutes? I also found it a bit tricky to push off the extra polish on my right hand using my left (non-dominant) hand and had to get my husband to help! Even then, my nails were still pretty rough. In salons they use a buffer to buff off the extra, so I used a buffer of my own to do this which big made a difference - I think the kit should come with a buffer for exactly this reason! The oil was nice (and I followed it with lotion because the acetone can be drying on your skin). This product works, so I have nothing bad to say about it, I am only saying I wouldn't recommend because of the price. For $20, I think it's cheaper to just buy acetone, cotton pads and foil (or just go to a nail place which will usually remove for you for $5!!). If you're in a hurry though, or just like the idea of a "kit" product, this kit is a good option. Picture is of fresh shellac mani, 1 week later, 2 weeks later, and freshly removed with CND Offly Fast.

    Nope.

I received an excellent Shellac manicure (would recommend!) from LUX spa (also would recommend!) but unfortunately I would go to a spa to get my nails removed in the future.

I followed the instructions closely, so that I could remove my Shellac. They seemed straightforward, and were printed on the back of the package, on paper, and in the individual foil bags. Unfortunately, it took much longer, and not everything came off. I used the small wooden stick, as suggested, but a thin layer of uneven residue remained, which I have yet to get off my nails.
