I love fairy lights!

These lights are not exactly as I had envisioned as Fairy Lights (I feel they should be clear lights) – these lights are made up of 100 ¾” white durable plastic bulbs.

While perfect for a venue or less noticeable areas, in my garden or in the bird room (where they had planned on being hung), they are way too visible when they are not lit.

The cord consists of a thin cord leading to the plug, and 5 of the thin cords twisted between all of the bulbs. This does create a rather pretty effect, and may lead to less breakage in comparison with a thick cord. Especially considering fairy lights are generally strung up in a mish mash pattern instead of straight lines. Twisty is better for this style of lighting. That being said, I am unsure if they are waterproof or not, and have not tested out that theory. I will keep them indoors and safe for now.

The plug is kind of neat, as you can add on additional lights to the plug, creating a longer and more substantial lighting system.

With respect to the length, it covers 10 metres, which can cover a vast area!

The lights once turned on are a golden white colour, with 8 different modes. My preference is always plain Jane solid lights as the flashing hurts my eyes and head.

I can see them being used as mood lighting, around plants, at weddings (or other parties), or even around your Christmas Tree or Bannister!

Overall, they are okay – I prefer the solar panel lights, as I can definitely use those inside or outside. For events or a kids room, these will definitely be a great addition to meet your fun lighting needs!
