I tried the Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner. This is pretty expensive. I was offered free shipping plus free samples for my birthday, so I ordered the cheapest product I could find. That was the Damage Reverse Restorative Conditioner (2 oz. for $10) I also got samples of the Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo and Damage Reverse Restorative Serum. I figured if they actually worked, they might be worth the price.
I used the shampoo and conditioner for an entire week and I was not impressed. First of all, I needed extra shampoo in order to make it lather. The conditioner was not very rich and I had trouble detangling my hair. They are supposed to have a "botanical" scent but it was not very a pleasant smell. More chemical than botanical to my nose. I also did not notice any improvement in my hair. In fact, it was strange...my hair felt soft but not silky or smooth. Almost like it had a film or residue on it. Not a fan of this line at all.
It s a little pricey for shampoo but my hair is really damaged and this product has been helping it with every wash. It really works especially if you use it with the conditioner and the mask. Besides the price I don t like the smell of it but its a good trade off to get better healthier hair.
I love this shampoo. I purchased this shampoo to use for dark, color-treated hair and it helps preserve my semi-permanent color and gloss. It takes the tiniest little bit to shampoo my fine hair and the next day, my hair stays cleaner longer. It's expensive, but lasts for such a long time.
I just got double process highlights on naturally dry hair: duh. What was I thinking? My hair was really dry... it felt dead with little elasticity. I bought both the shampoo and conditioner from Ojon's Damage Reverse line and just started using them. Price wise, its not cheap - but when you've damaged long (mid-back long) hair, you will do anything to fix your stupidity. I already see a difference in my hair - its softer, the cuticle is lying flatter, its smoother to the touch and today its a lot less 'damaged frizz' than before. This is making a genuine difference in my hard to treat hair . I'm totally grateful I won't have to cut my long hair!
