The "directions" say to apply on areas prone to cellulite, but I didn't purchase this as a remedy to cellulite, so I can't speak to whether or not there's any effect on cellulite-prone areas. I use it on my hands, arms, and legs. There is a very slight, pleasant scent (barely noticeable). I keep a tube of this cream beside my bathroom sink and really like it.
