    Not bad, but worth it

Very easy, and definitely not the worst gnocchi I’ve ever had. It’s a bit greasy and doughy at the same time, so keep that in mind. Would buy again, maybe twice.

    Not too bad

Tho started okay as a side dish and I like it but if you fry it it becomes less healthy but boiled is alright. Would be better with less preservatives and better quality products. Worth a try if it’s on sale.

    Isn't worth the price

Oliveri skillet gnocchi has a very good flavors very simular to a perogie. They cook in only five minutes the only problem is the price $5.99 for a tiny bag isn't worth it

    Strange taste

We tried two versions....the Classic and also the Cheese. The cheese version i would DEFINITELY NOT but again. It had a very weird taste to the filling the Classic I would MAYBE buy again. When cooked according to the package, it is very bland. But after adding garlic and onion powder to them during cooking, they were very good.

    Wasn't Impressed

I am not overly impressed with the skillet Gnocchi, we have tried it on 3 occasions and its just not great. flavour is lacking, texture isn't great, and for what is it the price doesn't match up.

I love a good, soft, pillowy gnocchi. I discovered a while ago that the shelf-stable stuff they sell in grocery stores is absolute gummy garbage, and I am not talented enough to make it myself, so I was excited to try Olivieri's new refrigerated gnocchi. I have to say, it's probably the best gnocchi you're going to find at the grocery store, but it isn't great. It's still a bit doughy, but lighter than I was anticipating. I'd buy again if I was really craving gnocchi.

Olivieri Skillet Gnocchi was on sale and I had a coupon so I decided to give it a try. I chose the plain variety, there is also a cheese version.

If you're someone who has made fresh gnocchi or enjoy ordering it fresh in a restaurant, you're going to notice that this product isn't exactly like that. It IS convenience food after all. But, it's not bad as a quick way to get something on the table quickly, something that is a little different than the usual.

Gnocchi isn't pasta as some people think although it does seem quite like a soft pasta; it's made out of potatoes. These are basically cooked already, you are just frying them up to both heat the product and put a little crisp on them. Where you can make these shine is in your choice of topping. I have had them now with a rose sauce, fried mushrooms and onions, with an alfredo sauce (and bacon) and with an avocado pistachio pesto. Be creative, these are very mild and subtle in flavour and similar to pasta really serve as a vehicle to hold sauce!

If you haven't had Gnocchi before you will probably like these if you like potatoes and you like pasta that is softer in texture because as I mentioned, that is what these are reminiscent of. I imagine these are good with just a straight tomato sauce and cheese as well as even with just a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper and a sprinkling of parmesan or other hard cheese. The Olivieri website also has some recipe ideas.

They aren't gourmet but for a convenience food product I enjoyed them and will buy them again!
