These baking cups are fantastic!

These baking cups are fantastic! I was anxious to try them out so I made muffins right away. I filled them 2/3 full as per the directions but I don't think you need to fill them quite that full because they rose higher and were more rounded than usual. I think that is because these silicone cups hold their shape better than the paper cups I usually use. Because of this, I would recommend you don't fill them as much. Certainly not more than 2/3 full but maybe even less than that. If you take a look at the pictures I attached you'll see what I mean about the size of them.

These silicone baking cups are sooo much better than paper cups. I really like the attractive colours and shapes. It's hard to make out the heart shape when it's in the cup but not when it's out. With icing and decorations on a cupcake this shape would be really pretty. The star shaped cups take a little less batter so they don't need to be cooked as long as the other shapes.

I wondered how to get the muffins out of the cups but they just pealed off easily. I was amazed how quick and easy it was and that the muffin didn't break apart. I was concerned that the points would come off the stars but that didn't happen. And cleaning them is a snap. Just a quick wash in soapy water and you're done.

When I was asked if I wanted to test these baking cups I thought, why not? I have been content with using paper cups but after using these silicone cups I'll never go back to paper ones. Please note that I am leaving a review because I want to let other bakers know about this great product. Not because I was asked to.
