I purchased this flat iron at Sally Beauty Supply over a year ago, and it still works great! I bought the 1 1/2" one because I had really long hair at the time. It was perfect for that length of hair, now I have bangs and shorter hair and it is a little harder to use, I would probably prefer the 1" now. It makes my hair very straight and smooth and heats up to 450⁰ degrees. It also has a dial on the side to turn the temperature down if you need to.
