A little about me:
I have eczema (Really flaky dry skin) I work at a nail salon. We use this lotion daily on our clients.
-Pros: This lotion is light and the scent is fabulously fruity. It leaves my body extremely soft and silky smooth exactly what im looking for in my lotions. They use natural ingredients such as avocado oil, aloe vera, and fruit extract.
-Cons: There are parabens and I find that my hands become dry after a few min.
I would definitely recommend the avojuice skin quenchers, I recently received a free bottle... and I cannot get over how good this product works, It soaks right into my skin, no greasy residue, leaving my hands extremely smooth, I have used it for a couple of days, and I notice a huge difference, and it smells devine.
I love the peony & poppy scent! A must try!!
Soaks in nicely, but isn't rich enough for my hands. But they do have great scents
omg, if you love smelly lotions that smell sweet and fruity DON'T MISS THIS LOTION's!!!
it's a light lotion, not very thick, easy to apply and absorbs very very quickly without leaving a residue or greasy feeling, the best i like is the AAMAAAAZING scent they have.
i use it mostly on my hands or upper body, but i have very dry legs often(especially in winter) and i think it doesn't moisturize there enough. these are awesome summer scents.
i tried JASMINE(very sweet delicious scent..... vanilla fans should love it i think!!!)
then i have HIBISCUS BLOSSOM, not this sweet but a nice refreshing flowery scent(like a sweetened hibiscus tea),
also there is SWEET TEA(little soapy for me...like it, but not my favorite),
COCONUT MELON(light coconut scent, not enough for me, but i still like this one)
MANGO( very fruity...love it,not too sweet)
CRAN & BERRY( flowery,fruity scent?like it)
my favorite for sure is JASMINE!!!!
you don't need parfum if you apply this lotion, the smell is very strong and enough. last long for me.... big fan but i wish it would moisturize very dry skin better.
Thought I'd do a review on this one just cause a bottle of it is sitting on my desk at work (one of many brands), and I've just spent the last 10 minutes applying it. As far as a "body lotion" goes, I'd say give it a pass. It's not rich enough to moisturize. As a "hand lotion" it's fair for the price. It's not as good as the expesive stuff (ie. L'Occitaine) but I guess you get what you pay for. The positives - I love the scent, and it seems to have good lasting power scent wise. I'm typing well on my computer after having applied it a few minutes ago, so it's not greasy. The pump bottle helps as you don't have to mess around with caps. If you get it stick to it as just a hand lotion and get something better for a body lotion.
If you are looking for a great moisturizer I say keep shopping if you are looking for something to semi moisturize but more just looking for a great smell I say pick this product it smells amazing, Its offered in quite a few different scents, this lotion did nothing for my over washed hands.
Absolutely amazing stuff! Makes my hands unbelievably soft, and it smells amazing, too! I like buying the mini bottles so I can keep one in my purse for easy application on the go or at work. For the larger sizes, the price can be a little steep, but it's completely worth it.
Avojuice is made by OPI. even though this lotion isnt that hydrating as other lotions might be, it is a good lightweight lotion for on the go, or the beach. the consistency of this lotion is wateryish, hence, lightweight. it hydrates nicely, but probably will have reapply. the effectiveness of the lotion itself is maybe a bit too lightweight. but the smell is amazing. if youre just on the go and want a hint of fragrance for a special ocassion or just to smell nice on the beach; avojuice is right for you. the bigger bottles is about 11$ CAD. and the small ones (30ml) is about 3$ CAD, the smaller ones are actually quite hefty priced, so i suggest you buy the bigger bottles and buy a separate travelling bottle and just deposit your lotion in that. my favourite smell is the jasmine juicie. it has a sweet flavourful fragrance that i absolutely loooove! i also have the strawberry one i think. well the pink one. i probably would buy it the thrid time, but after that, probably not. just in my honesty, :)
Avojuice is made by the OPI brand. Some people may say it is great; however, I find it average. I've actually found better moisturizers than this. Okay, so I bought it in the Peach Juicie scent and I really love the smell, except it doesnt moisturize that well for me. The formula is really watery , but it is a "juice" quencher. It moisturizes...averagely & it takes a while, like maybe more than half a second, for it it settle in and stop feeling so..oily? I usually have to reapply every 30- 45 minutes. On the uphand, my skin does feel a fraction softer.
It's a bit pricey, since its OPI, but I wouldn't buy this again.
love these lotions, the scents are all wonderful, they dont sit on the skin, soak in very well and make my skin wonderfully soft. i buy them at chatters.
