I needed on-the-spot pain relief that Ibuprofen alone couldn't handle before I could see a professional. However, while Orajel is indeed better than nothing, and deserves recognition for that, it actually only lasts a few minutes, so whether it's really worthwhile at all is debatable.

Works!

When youte suffering from a painful tooth or a canker sore, you just want immediate relief. This product works almost instantly. However, it is not long lasting and you have to continuously reapply. However, because it gives you instant relief, I think the cost is totally worth it.

Orajel Maxium Strength

I went to my local drug store to get something for some canker sores. I had the canker sores due to a medication change. The medication irritated the inside of my mouth. The pharmacist recommended Orajel. It was a bit pricey but my pain was intense. I brought it home and gave it a try. It smells bad, it tastes worse. It worked instantly. It created a little barrier over the sore. I was able to sleep without the pain. I used it for a few days. The price was worth it!! I would recommend Orajel again and again.

Orajel is all that works

I had all my upper teeth pulled. And orajel maximum strength cream is the only thing that helped me cope with the pain. I still use it when i have mouth pains at all!.

Works great for canker sores

I sometimes get bad canker sores when I introduce too much salt to my diet. I apply a small amount of this and it helps to take away the edge. Sometimes it doesn't last all that long, but I will still use it.

I got it after a major dental procedure and it helped me very good. It completely numb my gums and I was pain free for a few hours. Obviously if you keep reapplying you won't feel any pain. I was also satisfied with the flavourless product that it is. It is worth it!

Tooth pain be gone !

Im currently going through the terrible pain of my wisdom teeth (I thought this was suppose to happen years ago !) And thus little tube has been a life saver ! Moments after my tooth pain starts I dab on a little glob of orajel and my tooth gets instant relief ! It is a little annoying having your mouth and younger go numb aswell but if it gets ride of the pain I don't even care !

Lately I've had bumps on my tongue due to taste bud issues and the orajel worked to numb my pain I had been experiencing. But I also have a cold sore and this does not help at all.

Does not work, needed something to relive abit of pain before going to the dentist so I got the maximum strength, does not even numb the infected area, and the taste is not great.
