The toothbrush is easy to use (just press button and recharge) but Im not used to using vibrating toothbrush and it was quite difficult to brush on the inner back part of my teeth since it is vibrating and so i have to switch to a smaller brush but the smaller brush is for brushing between teeth so it took longer time to brush my teeth. I think the power of the vibration is still too strong for the sensitve setting. It felt like it could loosen my tooth.
Overall, it does clean my teeth well but I cant brush it for too long. Compare to my regular toothbrush, I think the power brush will take less time to clean my teeth since I usually brush each section of my tooth for 20times and if i use the power brush i only place on my teeth for 1-2 seconds.
I would not consider purchasing this product in the future since im not comfortable in using this power brush and the setting is too strong for me if it has a lighter vibration setting in the future I might consider buying.
The toothbrush was a good size, bristle part not too large, and I liked the sleek handle. Ease of operation, but when the head touched a tooth it made a loud noise. Brushing for the alloted time did not create sore gums and I experienced no bleeding. I did find that the brushing created an excess amount of foaming, therefore there was a lot of dripping. My teeth felt no cleaner than the manual toothbrush I use. My feeling is that I would want to use the brush for a longer duration to access how long the bristles would last and the cost of replacing the head. I would not hesitate to recommend the product to a friend and will continue to use this one. Thank you for the opportunity of trying the power toothbrush before deciding to purchase.
I received the Oral-B Pulsonic Power Toothbrush through the product review club. Upon receiving it I let it charge for the recommended 12 hrs. As the handy leaflet will tell you 12 hrs of charging time will give you 30 minutes of operation time. There are two brushing modes "clean" and "sensitive". Sensitive mode is for a gentle clean for those sensitive areas in your mouth. What I really liked about the toothbrush was the timer. I definitely am not brushing my teeth for the recommended 2 minutes. So it was nice to have the timer indicate when I had brushed a certain area for 30 seconds. It pauses then continues brushing. I enjoyed how clean my teeth felt after using the Oral-B toothbrush but I really can't see myself paying $99.00 for one. I did enter a store last week and this toothbrush was on sale for $79.00, at that rate I still wouldn't pay for the toothbrush. I would really rather use my regular toothbrush and add another item to my wardrobe or something more worthwhile. Like I said the timer is handy but that's something I can be more mindful of or I can set my phone to beep after two minutes of brushing! I would recommend this to those of you who want more of a thorough brushing experience and who don't mind spending the money in order to receive one.
Thank you for Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product. I have always wanted an electronic toothbrush and it's something that my dentist has been recommending to me for years. I was a little taken aback by the vibrating motion of this toothbrush. i was actually expecting the more conventional electronic toothbrush that has the rotating head..
I do like the fact that the electronic toothbrush has a timer (30 seconds) so that I am sure to brush each quadrant for the proper amount of time. However, I don't know if I would choose this toothbrush over my manual toothbrush because I question whether the vibrating motion is actually helping to clean my teeth more. I would prefer the ones that have the rotating head because these are the ones I've seen and am more familiar with. I also think that they would do a more effective job at actually "brushing" the teeth. I'm not sure if the Pulsonic is featuring some sort of new technology in the world of electronic toothbrushes, if so, I am not aware of it. I even asked several of my friends who own electronic toothbrushes and have been using them for years and they all have the ones with the revolving head.
I would probably do some more research around electronic toothbrushes before deciding whether or not I would choose this one. Electronic toothbrushes cost significantly more than manual toothbrushes, so I'd want to make sure that it's worth the investment.
