Nice smooth capsules, high concentration
The capsules are smooth and lightweight, easy to swallow. They don't seem to have any taste or smell which is always a bonus for supplements. The concentration of vitamin C is quite high though, which can be a double edged sword. Recommended daily intake is 120mg for pregnant women whose needs are higher to support another person, so 1000mg is very high, half of the safe upper limit for consumption. If you are going to take these, please consider the rest of your diet and whether or not it is already vitamin C-rich because an excess can cause nausea and diarrhea. Other vitamin C supplements come in a lower dosage which makes overdosing harder, so if this came in a lower dose I might be more inclined to repurchase.
One vitamin c a day
I was excited when @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor chose me to try out the @orangenaturals Vitamin C 1000mg veg capsules.
The vitamin c veg capsules supports immune function, wound healing and collagen building. I found these to flavourless but on the larger side for a pill. I took these in the morning 30 minutes before any meals. This is a great supplement when you do not get enough vitamin c from your diet. Although it is difficult to see a difference in my health after using these, this is one vitamin that I plan to continue incorporating into my daily routine. #orangenaturals #freeproduct
Helping feel good every day
We know Vitamin C is the antioxidant of choice, and some of us have been ingrained to have citrus or Vitamin C every day to stay healthy. I admit that on days that I miss or forget, I just don't feel as good. So far these have been keeping me feeling up.
My only quibble is that the capsules are large and I have a bit of difficulty swallowing them.
A staple in every house
Vitamin C is definitely a staple in my household. I always take it to support my overall health. The bottle contains 120 vegan capsules that are easy to swallow. They are GMO, gluten, dairy, soy, wheat, yeast and sugar free. There are no artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. I will finish taking these capsules, but I am not sure if I would repurchase this product again because of its price.
Great source of Vitamin C, but large capsules
I'm a daily user of Vitamin C, particularly during the winter months, and we always have a bottle on hand in our household. These capsules from Orange Naturals contain 1000 mg of Vit C, which is definitely at the upper limit of what I'm comfortable taking (and likely the limit of what the body can actually use). I liked that these were capsules, rather than chalky tablets - a much nicer texture - however, the capsules were enormous. I can usually take most pills without water, but these were absolutely massive, both in length and thickness. All in all, these were pretty standard as far as Vitamin C goes, but their large size just isn't the right fit for me.
I #gotitfree to try through Butterly's Product Review Club.
A little boost.
I was happy to be selected by Butterly/Chick Advisor to try the Orange Vitamin C capsules. Although I did find them to be quite large, if taken with a glass of water, they go down fine.
Vitamin C Capsules
These Vitamin C capsules have so many great benefits but I will say one negative aspect is how big these pills are. I take one daily. These are developed by naturopathic doctors.
Easy Peasy Vitamins
It's the little details that matter sometimes. Love the matte soft touch feel of the bottle, strangely enough. Easy to take vitamins at a great price point. Thanks!
Easy to swallow pills!
When I opened the bottle, I wasn't expecting that the pills would be that big. I didn't have a problem swallowing it but others might find it hard to swallow. It's good that the capsule is removeable though. That way, people can mix it with apple sauce or something if they can't swallow. Still a product I don't mind buying again!
Convenient vitamins
I tried this from product review club and was satisfied with it. The capsule is smooth enough to swallow for a quick surge of Vitamin C in your daily routine. Because of the name of the brand, I sort of expected something citrus about it but that's just in the name... there's no scent or taste to the pills. With most vitamins, I have no idea if they work or don't work so this is the same. I assume it's giving me the health benefit of vitamin C.
