This is one of those ingenius kitchen inventions that you don't know you need until you've got it. No more flat soda, no more open containers.

I was a little disappointed that I couldn't seal it over my fist, but these things are honestly extremely versatile, I was even able to seal a plate with one. The list of jaw-dropping features goes on and on, BPA free, microwave and dishwasher safe.

These are genuinely amazing. Finally you can use all those tupperwares you've lost the lid for! At first I thought the tabs were kind of ugly, but they actually are a really smart design. Pulling the tabs when you're stretching one of these lids over something allows you to get a big pull and seal it properly, without bending back your nails or struggling to grip it.

The texture is really funny, it's not thick like the silicone you're used to, it's kind of like firm jello.

The only downside to this product is silicone's tendency to pick up dust, but rinsing it will cause the dust to immediately slide off so it's not a huge issue. I kind of wish there were a few more in between sizes for awkward shaped objects.

However, I absolutely love that you can seal a melon with this and keep it fresh. I love the fact that these are a new green option for those of us trying to reduce our disposable items. These lids are one of my fave new kitchen products and, for me, live up to their hype!
