Let me put it this way: I chose this over Haagen Dazs despite packaging I believe is in serious need of rebranding because it looks discount.

My husband came home with this one day when I'd specifically requested Haagen Dazs Mayan Chocolate ice cream. My first reaction was, "Why did you bring me this bargain ice cream? Go back to the store, you have failed your mission!" but then I tried it and I couldn't stop eating it! It's the perfect amount of chocolate. Not too sweet, not too weak. The fudge swirl running through it is heaven! I actually feel like I'm eating something that as far as dessert goes, is ok.

Now my freezer is stocked with this and though the hubs has since bought two more pints of Haagen Dazs they remain unopened because this is the one I want. It's not that the flavour is so much better than H.D it's that I feel better about eating it because it's natural, organic and ingredients are locally sourced.

I'm not sure how much it retails for but it is less than Haagen Dazs. The flavour selection they have is quite good. I'm dying to try cherries and chocolate.
