I think the conditioner is average. I have very naturally kinky hair that's fine and it feels good in the hair at first but didn't leave a lasting softness throughout the day. But it can help with finger detangling.The main thing I really didn't like was the smell. Reminds me of a cough syrup I hated as a child.
