I don't know if it's just me, but microwave popcorn does not taste as good as it used to. I like the convenience of it, but find it tastier to buy kernels and do them in a pot with a little oil.

I used to buy the smart pop type until I ran into multiple instances where the bags were completely sealed...which means that there's no way for air to escape and it can lead to burning and/or exploding bag and messy microwaves. Very fortunate that I like to keep an eye on my popcorn when it is in the microwave.

I contacted customer service about the bag issues and basically received compensatory coupons so I could get replacement product. Unfortunately, I ran in to the same issues even after the apologies. I had 2 boxes of smart pop and a sour cream pack that had bag issues. The bag issues occurred within a 4 month range. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

Truly the best popcorn you can buy! I love their "Smart Pop Pop-Up Bowls". The popcorn doesn't taste like it is low-fat, and they don't load up on the salt like other low-fat popcorn makers do. I never have an issue with the kernels not popping either. A lot of the value brands of popcorn never pop all the way and it is really a waste of money. So I don't mind spending the extra dollar to get the name brand. It also goes on sale quite frequently, usually cheaper than the store brand, so stock up while you can so you can enjoy this yummy treat whenever you wish!

I purchased the Orville Redenbacher Select White Microwave popcorn with the pop-up bowl. #1 we love the pop-up bowl. It helps to be able to see how the popcorn is progressing in the microwave to get "the perfect pop" and you no longer need to put in another container to eat it, making less dishes to clean up after a movie or whatever, and makes it great to transport because you can wait to open it until you are ready to eat it. We find the Select White popcorn to be lighter tasting than the buttery flavour, and less messy. Definitely a must buy in our household.

This is the only popcorn that my kids will eat.They say it tastes the best and has more butter on it then any other kind.

Love this great tasting popcorn. The bags are full once it poops and hardly no kernels at the bottom of the bag.

for microwave popcorn i love this brand great selection of flavours and the quality is good never had any problems with it. we eat them frequently especially the smart pop

Orville Redenbacher Microwave Popcorn is a little more expensive than the other brands of prepackaged microwave popcorns. They pop up well and have the right amount of butter. I find they also have a bit of a sweet taste to them but not overpowering. Orville Redenbacher is not my favourite brand but still is a decent popcorn.

Orville Redenbacher dedicated his life to perfecting a lighter, fluffier popcorn. He is everyone's favorite popcorn king. I love this brand and I have for years since I was a kid at home. No other brand can compare in my eyes, even though it is a little more money than say a no name brand, but it's so worth every penny. The bags always pop properly for me, and the butter does not leak out of the bag and into my microwave. That is a big pet peeve of mine, popping a bag of popcorn, waiting for that crunch and salty goodness, only to go to your microwave and have a non popped burnt bag of nothing. Orville Redenbacher you will always be the popcorn KING !!
