Okay so I decided to try out the pop up bowl and see what it was all about but I was overall disappointed with the product. when i put in my pop corn there was a few curnals that got burnt but that could have been for a few different reasons so im not going to hold them against that but I was disappointed on how the popcorn was over the top of the bowl line so when you rip of the top it doesn't hold all of the popcorn so u have to get a bowl to put the extra popcorn in or just waste it. The idea is there it just needs to be re vamped

I bought a box of this popcorn to bring to work as I thought the Pop up Bowl idea would be ideal to have at my desk and I wouldn't have to dirty another bowl.
Well I was wrong. I put it in the microwave for indicated time on the package but I stood by the microwave ready to stop it when the pops got more than a few seconds apart. Well 1 minute and 13 seconds into the cooking time smoke started pouring out of the microwave. I quickly opened it up only to find the plastic that is on the top and bottom of this 'pop up bag' had completely melted and was burning. Not even a quarter of the pop corn had popped. It made my whole office smell like burnt plastic and I had to obviously through out the bag. I ended up throwing out the whole box because forget that junk.
I would not purchase this again.

My family loves this popcorn. Its' so tasty with just the right amount of salt and butter. A nice change from chips.

Love the idea of having a bowl with the pop corn makes cleaning up so much easier

i don't know what was with this product but these bowls are horrible they don't pop good there are way too many kernels left and sometimes it just burns and i end up throwing out the bowl...will not buy again or recommend

I just love this product. When we buy popcorn I only ever buy the pop up bowl now .. it is saving my bowls from grease stains which is wonderful! It pops well, and is delicious.

I am a avid popcorn user and these are terrible,, the box is hard to get into and half of it burns while the other half stays unpopped, will not buy again

It`s Orville Redenbacher`s so that is one point in its favour at the get go. I popped one in a 1200 watt microwave for 2:30 and I did have some burned so it takes a few tries to get the timing right. In the end 2:15 seconds on my 1200 watts was the magic number.

The next challenge was opening the "bowl" it takes a bit of practice to get the top off in one shot (2 bags for me) but it really is quite easy. It is very very hot just like the warning on the bag tell you so READ THE BAG. Once you master the bowl you will enjoy the same wonderful flavour we know and love. The only downside is that we get less popcorn than before. So you must decide if the additional cost is worth it. I have found that this item is usually on sale at one or more stores which is always nice. I had a friend tell me they have been cutting the sides of the bags for years and use the bag as a bowl.

Personally I like to add parmesaen and cheddar cheese to mine and eat it with a spoon. If I want a fast no muss no fuss bag of fresh popcorn then this is the way to go. I always have a box on hand just for my snack attacks and no clean up.
