This tea is an Orange Pekoe. I got a "collectors tin" with 18 oz of tea for the price of 16 oz. It was for Overwaitea's 100th Birthday. That is how they got their name, people called it the Over-wait-tea Store. Because one guy that was working was measuring wrong and he was giving away more tea and didn't' know it, but then they kept it that way because in the end they were actually making more money that way, and customer's were happy and consistent.
I like collecting tins, as they are good for Holiday Baking, storage, anything really because they are metal and last forever.
The tea however, wasn't that great. It was really bitter, not very fragrant. It was nice and strong though, which is good because sometimes i like to add milk and honey to a pekoe or black tea. But, it gets even more bitter if you let it get dark enough for milk, and it get's dark fast., 15 seconds and that's it. This tea leaves a bad taste on my tongue, when a tea is for cleaning the palette. I have a 162 tea bags now..lol.. At least my Mom likes it.
Sorry, but taste for yourselves, but I don't recommend it.
