Worth the investment
I had twin boys born at 31 weeks. We spent 43 days in the NICU, one of their big obstacles was learning to breath. They would have spells when they slept where they would just stop breathing. Bringing them home had my anxiety sky high, I knew I would never sleep without an Owlet on each one, so I bought two before we were discharged. Best investment of my life, I’ve been woken up twice with alerts that one of my twins blood oxygen level was dropping. Best purchase I have ever made.
Gives me peace of mind when baby is sleeping
When my daughter started sleeping for long stretches I would worry and check on her to make sure she was still breathing, this would usually wake her up and then I would struggle to get her back to sleep. Once we got the owlet I had the peace of mind knowing she was ok and whenever I woke up all I had to do was check the app on my phone to reassure myself that she was just fine! We loved it so much we bought it again when we had our second baby in April.
Best investment for my youngest
After having a health scare with my other child when he was only a month old, I was so nervous bringing my youngest home. I researched many baby monitors and found the owlet. I love it! It’s easy to use, the system comes with 3 sizes in socks to grow with baby. It gives me peace of mind and helps me sleep better at night. I like how it’s easy to check the app right on my phone and view the babies oxygen levels, heart and quality of sleep for the whole night.
Peace of mind
Having the baby monitor has given us piece of mind with each of our children we plan on using it for our 3rd baby as well. I feel like only false alarms are when the sock was not secure and accidentally fell off.
Take away all of the anxiety.
I had severe anxiety when I brought my son home and didn't know there was such thing as pp anxiety. When I was bringing my daughter home, I knew this was a must. It was fantastic in keeping me assured she was OK. It did go off once but it was just because the sock moved. I loved it!
Great tool to have
Overall this was a great monitor to have. I had a scary time where it did alert me to an issue. That being said there were times when the alarm went off and everything was fine so they were false warnings but given the fact it protected my daughter that one time I really needed it it was well worth it to me
Piece of mind
I am a first time mom with horrible anxiety. I bought this right before I gave birth because I was/am so afraid of something happening to my daughter while we’re all sleeping. This monitor has given me a great piece of mind. I actually feel comfortable sleeping when she has the monitor on. It fits great and is not uncomfortable for her because it goes on her foot and is wireless. It’s a little expensive but so worth it.
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT!
This is my number 1 baby product that I recommend to family and friends. Having the peace of mind that my baby is being monitored all night while I get to sleep for as long as she lets me is a blessing! Just put the sock on your baby and the monitor tracks the heart rate and oxygen levels. If anything goes out of normal range, it will alert you either through the base or the app on your phone. I couldn't live without it now that I've used it on both of my babies!
The device that saved my daughters life
The owlet is a sock that goes on your babies foot. It monitors their breathing and blood oxygen level and you can conveniently watch your babies levels on your iPhone or iPad, or you can just use the base station. We paid the hefty price of $500 Canadian for it, and it never went off for the first year. My daughter was 13 months when it went off, it red alarmed, and she wasn’t breathing. With some quick thinking I administered CPR while waiting for the ambulance. We were told it would never happen again and she will be okay. We continued using the owlet only to have it happen again 3 weeks later. Owlet caught a sleep apnea/seizure disorder that we would’ve never knew existed. Thank you for saving my daughters life
