I received this product free for my review. Overall I liked this product. I have two kids who get lots of stains on their clothes. It cleaned them pretty well but I still found some stains that I had to rewash, so it wasn't perfect. My usual brand is Tide which I have used for many years. I think Oxiclean did as good of a job or possibly a bit better. I will consider switching to Oxiclean. I got the 'perfume free' one which literally has no smell to almost a metallic smell in the bottle, so next time I would buy one with a scent added.
I am more than happy with thee results I get using Oxiclean liquid laundry detergent. It is so easy to use and, not only did it remove old stains, it left my clothes clean, brighter and sweet smelling.
I received this product for free to review. It's a very thick liquid that clings to stains, and the fresh scent is a breath of fresh air. All my clothes seemed to come out whiter and brighter. I pre-treated my sweetie's stained shirt collars with it and the stains were gone....even spray n wash didn't get them out. I wish it was a little more cost effective, but I would definitely recommend it to friends and family
I'll be honest: I'm usually a Tide or Costco-brand detergent user. Living in the country with well water usually means my wash results are a little less impressive than when we used to live in the city with municipal water.
Over the years, I've been pretty religious about treating stains so my family's clothes are usually not that filthy when they hit the wash. Spots haven't been a huge problem, it's more about the gradual yellowing of socks, undies, and dish towels over time. I'm really hoping that OxiClean can turn that around.
I have not been using OxiClean for very long so it's hard to say if it's better than the competition. It's certainly at least as good - I will say that much! I prefer the unscented variety in general, but I have also noticed that my clothing is much MUCH softer coming out of the wash now! I usually hang dry/clothesline-dry a lot of my laundry during the warm months, and with my previous detergent I got stiff and almost scratchy clothing after drying in the sun. OxiClean's results feel even better than those detergents which come with fabric softener included.
Needless to say, I will happily continue using it until it runs out. Since Tide is pretty expensive, I'd certainly consider switching especially because of the wonderfully soft results. Good job OxiClean!
This product works so good, especially on my coloured clothes, where I can't use bleach. I have used this product on many things that I thought I would have to throw away, so glad I purchased it. Good Job OxiClean
I love any Oxi products. I have a very messy family and I need a detergent to handle the clothes. Love the scent and great stain removing properties.
I got to try OxiClean Laundry Detergent, and let me tell you..I was surprised! I love the scent, and it really lasts, but more than that, my laundry came out brighter! I didnt expect that. All my colours were refreshed and my whites were super bright. Even the tough food stains on the Grandkids clothes finally came out.
I found it to be very pricy... around $9. I was looking for a detergent to remove food stains as, my son is studying to be a chef and his whites get stained pretty badly during his classes. I found it to be very effective in removing most but not all of the stains. I did pre·treat the clothes prior to washing them. I love the perfume free on that I selected. I do recommend this as it is a lot better than some of the other detergents that are out there.
Great smell, and tough on stains as you would expect an OxiClean product to be! You will not be disappointed!
