Ok I never thought I'd be excited about an egg beater. But this thing is like magic. I have a small kitchen and don't have the room for an electric mixer for baking. I also just liked the idea of having a hand held mixer that doesn't rely on electricity. After doing some research I decided to buy this one. It was $26 which was slightly more than I was expecting to pay, but not at all expensive for a good kitchen tool. And this is an amazing tool. The design is simple but smart, the vertical thick handle makes a comfortable grip and the bar that goes over the beaters prevents them from hitting the bowl, meaning you can crank as fast as possible unhindered. It took me about 2 min to beat egg whites into a meringue, whipping cream was about the same. Seriously, I know it's just an egg beater but in the kitchen it is a game changer! Great quality, and the beaters come off with a push of the front and back button for hassle free cleaning. 10/10 recommend!
