Great cutting board

I received this PADERNO Maple Hardwood Roast Cutting Board, Grip Handles, 12-in x 18-in from Butterly for free to review it. It's a great cutting board. My favorite now. I was cutting a steak the other day and it was nice cause all of the juices went in the crease of the cutting board so no mess ! It's really easy to clean and maintain. It's heavy enough that when you are cutting something it does not move ! This is something that I would recommend. It's made it Canada eh !

Kitchen Must Have

I liked the size of the cutting board and it's weight, it's easy to move around and also to store in the kitchen cupboard. I also like the grooves in the side to catch liquids, you can go right from resting the meat to slicing to displaying on the table.

Nice but too expensive

It’s a nice cutting board but personally I wouldn’t pay so much for something I can’t clean in the dishwasher. The ridges are very difficult to clean and it takes so much counter space to dry

Paderno Maple Hardwood Cutting Board

The board has a couple of flaws. It slides around too easily on our countertop. Personal preference I would do away with the trench on one side of the cutting board and make it completely flat. It would be nice to have a piece of rubber on each corner of the cutting board to prevent it from sliding on quartz countertop. We oiled the board regularly with mineral oil, but it was nice that the Ford came pre-coded with mineral oil

Super cute and durable

I am in love with this cutting board. First of all, this looks amazing on the counter. It was very aesthetically pleasing to keep out. It does an amazing job and is very durable to chop on. I like how one side is completely flat while the other has grooves to it so that it can catch the juices. It is easy to maintain and clean as well. Added bonus, you can also use it to serve your dishes. 10/10 would recommend.

Heavy & Sturdy Cutting Board

I was given the chance to test out this Paderno Maple Hardwood Cutting Board in exchange for my honest review. #GotItFree with #Butterly !

Upon first impression, the board was beautiful,  unique tones in the wood, it has some nice weight to it and I love the drip tray for cutting roast, steak etc to avoid it dripping all over the counter. The packaging had very specific instructions on how to wash and store the cutting board which is nice but it was very specific (I.E when standing it up to dry, rotate which side it leans against every time, use mineral oil to keep it from cracking/separating and of course hand wash only). I've used it a few times so far, mostly just dinner prep, cutting up veggies. I did find that it slid around the counter a bit when cutting hard vegetables,  the cutting board doesn't have feet or any grip but I found putting a rubber band underneath helps with that. Overall so far I like it, it does the job, I'm hoping it last a long time!
As a bonus.... I like that its made from Canadian recycled maple and proudly made in Canada!

just a board

this is well constructed and made of really solid wood. it cleans and wipes down easily. but i did not find that my meat juices ran into the grooves as expected; rather my meat sat in a puddle of its own juices.

Great cutting board

I received the paderno maple roast cutting board for free for my honest review. It’s a solid piece of wood and great cutting board. The board is not just for roasts, the flipped side works well for vegetables and any cutting needs. The board is very even/level and stable. Overall, would recommend.
