Cutting board

I was looking for a big cutting board and this one from paderno it is the best so far. I really love how solid and resistant it is. I would definitely recommend this product!

Great board but high maintenance

Thank you @thisisbutterly and @padernokitchenware for letting me try the Paderno Maple Roast Board, it's a strong and durable maple wood board. I used the smooth side of the board for cutting veggies and fruits and the grooved border side of the board for my Roast meats so the juices drip in the grooves and don't split on my kitchen counter top. The size was just perfect for me it is big enough to have all my chopping done. What was a bit of a turn down for me is the fact that it needs a lot of care and needs to be regularly treated with mineral oils to help the longevity of the board, with my crazy schedule that can be missed sometimes. Other than the care part I really enjoyed using this board and think it is a great addition to my Kitchen.

All in all I like the board but not my favourite though.

Cons:
Very dry and porous wood - got stained after first use
Rough feel to the wood - get the sense that it could splinter. This may be a function of the wood being very new - hopefully with use this will improve with time and use.

Perfect size

I’ve been through many cutting boards. The quality of Canadian maple hardwood is top notch. I love that it is reversible. It is low maintenance to clean up.

Beautiful and sturdy

I was so excited to receive the Paderno Maple Hardwood Roast Cutting Board 12-in x 18-in. It is such a beautiful and sturdy cutting board. I have never had a wood cutting board before so be forewarned you need to treat them with mineral oil BEFORE using. So I quickly purchased the Paderno Mineral Oil to seal my board before use. I loved the look of the maple wood and how you can use both sides. The grooved side it great for cutting juicer items like melons as the liquid collects in the grooves instead of dripping onto the counter. Makes for much easier cleanup. The flat side is wonderful for larger items like chopping nuts or chocolate for cookies. There are some tips for keeping the board lasting a long time, like not soaking the board in water and drying it vertically not horizontally. Also you have to keep treating it with Paderno mineral old, to keep it looking beautiful. I will keep this board for produce and basic chopping of cooked products but I wouldn’t recommend using it for raw meats.

I LOVE IT!

I received the Paderno Maple Roast Board , This board is Great, Very large and easy to cut on. I love that it collects all the juices in the grooved border. Plus ,you can flip it over to the other side to use for chopping.
Everyone should purchase one, I LOVE IT!!!

Large meat cutting board

Very large meat cutting board made of maple great for carrying food to the bbq and for cutting and catching all the liquids keeping your counter clean!

Great quality product

I received this Paderno Maple Roast Board for free in exchange for my honest review. I was very impressed with the quality of the board, the maple wood has a beautiful finish and is very sturdy. I used the board to cut lemons for lemonade. I found it to do a good job of catching all the juices and the large size meant I had lots of room to stack peels and even squeeze the juice on top for easier clean up. I also purchased the recommended mineral oil to preserve the life of the board. Overall I am pretty happy with this product!

Love this cutting board!

This Paderno Maple Hardwood Roast Cutting Board with Grip Handles is amazing! The quality of the cutting board is just superb, with just the right amount of weight behind it. It is made of quality maple wood and I feel like it will last for years! I love that it has grooves in it to catch all the juices of anything I’m cutting. I love the way it looks on my stovetop when I’m not using it. I really enjoy the Paderno brand and the cutting board is no exception! I will continue to buy Paderno as it never lets me down! I would recommend this cutting board to anyone looking for a nice wooden cutting board.

Paderno maple cutting board

This board is the best quality wooden cutting board I have ever had. It makes cleaning very easy. I also use it for serving charcuterie, it makes more presentable and perfectly nice. The size allows for a large variety of items to be displayed on. The wood is high quality and it just perfect for everything. Beautiful. Will defenitely recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
