Slices with ease

I received the Paderno fully forged carving knife for free in exchange for my honest review. I have not had a chance to slice a delicious roast with it yet but it definitely slice vegetables with ease and can slice paper thin. The tang fits nicely in the hand and it has a nice balanced weight. This is going to be a perfect addition to my knife set and will be used regularly. While inspecting the construction of the knife you can see that it is of great quality, made of professional grade German stainless steel, made for long lasting durability. It also is long enough to slice through some big cuts of meat with hacking it to pieces. I can't wait to use this knife more!

Must-have for holiday dinner entertaining

We do a lot of cooking and entertaining in our household, so we're always looking for tools to help make the process smoother and easier. This carving knife is definitely a must-have. At 10 inches, it's ideal for cutting large roasts and the like with extreme precision. It's forged from a single piece of quality German steel and has a nice heft to it - just enough to give you better grip and control, but not overly so to make it difficult to use. The only downside is finding a spot to store it, as it's too longer for any conventional knife block. Other than that, it's easy to use and clean and I expect that it will last a good long while.

Amazing knife!

We are honestly in love with this Knife! It is very sharp. It cut through the roast we were having last night with ease. We didn't need to put pressure on the knife it just glided through. I found the knife to be a comfortable weight and that it fit well within my hand. I did not feel I didn't have control at anytime. I am already wanting to add more to our knife collection.

I always thought a knife was just a knife. Honestly this is the best thing to come into my kitchen. Carving the meat off the bone os absolutely effortless with this knife. Like butter is an understatement, I'm just so amazed.

Great Slicing!

This knife has larger cutting surface as it’s longer than most knives. Slices meat like butter and takes little to no effort. I loved that I could slice meats very thin with this knife. I would recommend this knife to everyone. I hope to expand my Paderno collection now as well.

Designed to carve any and every thing!

The first thing I noticed about this carving knife was the size - I was not expecting to receive a 10” blade! This knife can easily carve even the biggest turkey or roast (or watermelon!). The pointed tip allows for easy maneuvering around bones and the ergonomic design helps us cut thin, even slices of meat. Our presentation skills have improved significantly!

New Carving Knife From Paderno

Got to try the new Paderno carving knife. This thing is pretty nice. First thing I noticed was the metal extends throughout the grip and it doesn't have a heel that goes to the end of the blade. I find when that is there it's a pain to sharpen the bottom of the knife. So far so good. I cooked up a small ham roast and this thing went through the meat super smooth. Hard to find something bad, but we'll have to see the long term durability yet. Now I just have to get the rest of the set!
