    Replace your foundation

Replace your foundation with rice powder! Its compact and easily applys to your brush. Does not feel heavy and takes shine away with a natural look to your skin.

    Pali-noooo

I wanted so much to like this setting powder. I had heard such good things about it. Unfortunately, I knew it wasn't going to work for me as soon as I opened the lid from the box. This powder is very perfumy! It has a heavy, old fashioned perfume smell and it stinks! I am very sensitive to scents and there's no way I could wear this powder on my face. It really is too bad!

I had run out of my HG powder but didn't want to fork over $20 for a new one since I seem to go through them pretty quickly. I recently discovered a Sally Beauty near my town and had to check it out. After seeing some great reviews on their website I knew I had to try it.
I picked up natural and when I first put it on it looked SUPER yellow/orange. Once I finished my makeup it didn't look too bad but I definitely will try a translucent next time.
The thing I hate about most loose powders is how they make you look dry, ashy and kind of dead looking. This stuff does not do that at all. It makes the skin feel smooth while still giving life to your skin. And a LITTLE goes a VERY long way.
The thing that impressed me the most was when I put it under my eye. My eyes water a LOT and any other powder when wet does not look cute in the inner tear duct area. Even when I try and pat it out and dry it, it looks cakey and an inner corner highlight is just ruined. When this got wet I just patted my beauty blender over the area and it looked dry and smooth out. I was amazed. Because of that I knew it would be perfect for my oily skin. After an 8 hour day my skin looks a BIT shiny (more healthy glow) but there was no weird gathering or movement of the powder.
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone, especially oily girls, looking for a great loose powder.

Forgot to mention though.. it has a HIGHLY perfume scent. I really dislike it but about 10 minutes of wearing it most of the scent has disappeared. Some will like but to me it's horrendous..and I would still buy it over and over again.

one of my favorite powders ever! i usually don't use loose powders, because they're very messy (despite the flawless effect they give). i have to say though, this is probably going to make my list of holy grail products. it's light weight, smooth, and fresh feeling. it glides on effortlessly and makes my skin feel so smooth. it feels weightless, and has a clean old-fashioned-like scent. a great setting and touch up powder. love it!

After seeing many positive reviews on makeupalley.com about this Palladio's Rice Setting Powder (in Natural) I decided to grab this at Sally's and try it out

    (Sally Beauty Supply - $4.99)

I've used this about 5 times so far and in very humid New England Summer weather. I have to say, that this product really holds up when it comes to the heat. I'm actually really surprised how well my makeup stayed on my face while I had sweat beads running down my face from carrying my 23lb son all over the place in 95 degree weather!

It comes with a little powder puff but I really dont use it. I prefer a blush brush or a soft kabuki.
Application is basic, I pretty much apply it as if it was any other powder makeup and let it do its job.
This can get a little messy if you arent used to powder products though.

For the price that it is ($4.99) I really dont think you could go wrong with this stuff. I give it a 3 out of 5.
    I would repurchase.

    PROS -
    Keeps makeup in place
Has a nice smell to it
    Affordable
    Cute packaging

    CONS -
    A little messy
Wears off after a few hours

I still recommend trying it out if youre interested! A good buy for the price!
