Affordable belly lotion
I started using this once I was about 4 months pregnant. I use it about once a day after showering. It absorbs quickly but I'm not a huge fan of the smell. I don't have stretch marks yet and I'm hoping that by moisturizing well this lotion, it will help prevent them!
Decent but smells good
I haven't noticed any change to my stretch marks since using this cream. However my husband and I also use it as a hand cream and it works very well because it is so thick. Smells like chocolate too!
Good lotion, not great for stretchmarks
This lotion isn't bad but not the best thing ever for stretch marks. It smells amazing (like cocoa obviously) and isn't too expensive at most drugstores (I bought mine at walmart for under $6) for the amount you get. While it does moisturize well, it doesn't do too much to fade stretch marks which is the point. I know a lot of people swear by this brand but I just wasn't overly impressed. Maybe if you use it religiously for months and months you'll have better results but I wasn't blown away enough to repurchase.
I purchased this in desperate for something that would help with my stretch marks and itchiness on my belly and waist. I can say this was a life saver as it stopped my itching after applying on this cream. The consistency is quite thick and the smell is quite strong, but the effectiveness is very pleasing. Plus, this is way cheaper option than many other stretch marks creams on the market today.
Ok so I've never been pregnant, but I have a visible problem with scars from stretch marks that appeared in high school so I can't wear low cut tops. I wish back when I was a teenager I could have been using this on my chest b/c then maybe it may have worked, unfortunately it (obviously) doesn't reduce the appearance of set-in scars like mine. So I can't vouch for it's efficacy. But I have been using it twice a day for 6 weeks in a "wishing well" sort of way. I can say that it's a rich/thick cream and smells amaaaaaaaze... it smells like white chocolate, don't eat this. It smells like a white chocolate factory, so that's really enjoyable to apply and you smell good too. I like this formula way better than their oil b/c that was way too messy.
I started using this a little late,, after my stretch marks appeared during my pregnancy, but it definitely reduced the appearance of them! I continue to use it even to this day because it smells great and isn't greasy like other stretch mark creams I tried. I recommended it to a friend early in her pregnancy before stretch marks appeared and hers are very dull and barely noticeable!
Expecting a lotion to undo a lifetime of stretch marks due to growth spurts and weight gain might be a bit silly but I've been trying to find a skin firming lotion and I figured I'd give it a try when this was on sale one day. I'm not certain it makes one bit of difference on the stretch marks themselves, mine are mostly white, not pink/red, but it does feel as if the skin is a bit firmer in the areas where I've put it, but that might just be wishful thinking. Smell is a bit overwhelming, but I'm not a huge fan of scents to begin with as they can cause me to sneeze or worse burn my nose (I can't go anywhere near a soap store or candle section).
great product that actually removes redness of stretch marks, but must be used continuously for redness to continue to disappear. it is definitely perfect for when you know you have a beach day coming up.
It didn't really help much with my stretch marks, but it certainly does moisturize the skin. It smells great too.
