Palmers Fade Cream Review
This product has a thick application - It has the same consistency as diaper rash cream. It takes a little while to rub this product in your skin. After it is rubbed in, it doesn't leave a white film or residue on your skin, and it doesn't leave your skin feeling oily. This product didn't have much of a scent. I haven't used this product long enough to appropriately assess how effective it is, however, I started to notice a slight difference after one week of using this product consistently. I would definitely purchase this product again!
I purchased this product from my local beauty supply store for around $6, regularly it retails for $10. I purchased the version for oily skin which would offer a matte finish without exacerbating oily skin. I applied this fade cream to the dark spots on my face only (not all over) twice a day, once during the day after cleansing before moisturizer and makeup and once again at night.
After nine weeks I saw results. My dark marks were lightly faded but the skin around my dark marks had lightened considerably. I decided to discontinue use at that point. So the cream worked, just not as I hoped it would.
The cream is thick and white and smells exactly like rubber bands. It absorbed quickly and dried to a matte finish.
I cannot live without this product. It is my skin repairing, preventing and maintenance regiment. I like that is doesn't leave your skin shinny or too oily. The texture of this product allows your skin to completely absorb it. Plus non like other fade cream Skin Success isn't as harsh, it blends well with your natural skin color. If you are like me and suffered from acne this is the perfect product for you. It will take care of the discoloration left behind by your acne. (a.ka. acne scares)
