super fun way to dye hair!

Having dark hair, I find this was a super fun way to lighten my hair even a little (to dark brown) without bleach. The only downside is that it's not readily available and I typically have to purchase online or at an asian retailer for a higher cost. The brand offers a lot of colours, and my tip is whatever colour box you want, go lighter one more shade if you have dark hair. Although it does penetrate, dark hair takes more effort no matter what so getting a lighter colour will not only help it, but wash out a bit after a few shampoos to leave you with a darker more even colour

Palty is a Japanese brand hair dye that's supposed to be made for Asian hair. My friends used it and I jumped on the bandwagon!

The colour I used was Milk Tea Brown. The results stayed pretty true to what the colour is supposed to come out like (they show examples of the tones it should come out with the current colour you have). Though I left the dye in for an hour and a half with a plastic bag covering my hair the whole time.

The smell wasn't too strong as the American brands, application was super easy and it did not dry out my hair at all! After the rinse, my hair did not feel gritty or dry what so ever. It also comes with a leave in conditioner (that smells sooo nice) which you apply after you towel dry your hair.

The box has a dotted circle at the back so you can poke it through to hold the bottle in there for less of a mess (as in the picture). The instructions come only in Japanese but it's super simple to use.

    The instructions:
    1. Mix 1 (the tube) into 2 (the bottle) and seal it with the comb lid
    2. shake it up for about 30 seconds
    3. I started to apply it starting with my roots, but you can do it like how you're really supposed to do it (roots last). It comes with a brush applicator lid that you can you to brush the dye on your hair
    4. Saturate through hair
    5. The box says to leave it in for 20-30 mins, but I left it in for an hour and a half because people reviewed saying that they left theirs in for 45 mins- 2 hours
    6. Wrap hair head with plastic bag (heat makes the chemicals react faster)
    7. After desired time, rinse hair with cool water and I conditioned my hair with my regular conditioner
    8. Towel dry hair and apply leave in conditioner (little packet)

I am totally satisfied with the hair colour and super happy with how soft my hair is. I bought this at a random store at Pacific Mall. They're more expensive than American brands because they're made in Japan, so shipping and such would make it more expensive. I've heard that they sell it at T&T;supermarket or even other Asian supermarkets (but I don't know how much they cost- probably cheaper than $17 lol).

A picture of what comes inside the box, I can't upload it after my review was posted.

It also comes with huge plastic gloves that I didn't take a picture of.
