I gave this a bit of a hit for the price, because it is not inexpensive, by any means. However, it is, in my opinion, worth every penny. The downfall is that it is not easy to find. I have to drive about 40 minutes to the closest store that regularly carries this flour. Pamela's is a popular brand and many stores carry it, but they tend not to have this product on their shelves, for some reason. That is another downfall.
Now for the positives:
This flour works perfectly as a cup for cup substitute for regular wheat flour, granted, you will need to use some xanthan gum to help it hold together. The texture is so perfect. It is not gritty at all, nor is it dense. I use it for most of my recipes that have been converted over from a traditional wheat flour recipe. IT works really well as a thickener in soup and gravy as well.
