Our favorite for both son and daughter
I've heard that some brands work better for girls vs. Boys, but the swaddlers sensitive line was perfect for our kids. Even when sleeping through the night, there were no leaks (unless we were due to move up to the next size), and no issues with diaper rash. We're just put on some coconut oil as a barrier before diapering.
Work well
Functionally these diapers work great and I have very little complaints. They feel quite flimsy initially and the 'closure' seems like it could easily tear open, but once it's stuck down, it really resists any attempt to tear it open, unless you pull the 'catch' itself. Babies aren't strong enough to break them open, so it's not an issue at all and I like the 'wet strip'. They are pretty absorbent and we haven't had any problems with leakage.
My only complaint and reason to reduce a star is the scent. I do feel like they are very strongly scented and this could definitely cause problems with certain babies (and in sensitive diapers is a bit odd). I also found the scent quite headache-inducing. Functionally, they're great, but I wish they were unscented.
When I had my first son I was really nervous about picking a diaper brand because my husband has and had (as a baby) really sensitive skin. When he was a baby he reacted really badly to a diaper brand but couldn't remember which one he was told caused the bad diaper rash.
Pampers sensitive diapers have been great for my son. I have also tried the regular pampers and noticed a huge difference in the softness of the material. He is one month old and there has been no allergic reaction at all. It also stands up to heavy "messes".
