Not for me

The Panoxyl acne wash (4% benzoyl peroxide cream) works differently than other cleansers in that you apply it first then wait 2 minutes before washing it off, and to be honest I don't really have the time or patience for something like that in my routine (conditioner is hard enough). The product itself has a very strong chemical scent, kind of bleach-like, and an oily lotion-like consistency. Given the harsh smell I was surprised that this did not irritate my skin and did not make my skin feel dry. I did not notice much positive difference in my skin either though. Overall I would not use this just due to the hassle of the application process and the strong bleach-like smell.

Works but harsh on skin

I wanted to love this product but didn’t. Don’t get me wrong it was effective to reduced acne and redness but was just way too harsh on my skin to continue use. It also bleached my face cloths so use designated cloths.

It didn't work for me

I got to try this for free. I'm glad I did, as I had honestly never heard of the product before. I tried it for two weeks. Put it on, left it for a few minutes as I read it says to. Washed it off. But I continued to have fresh acne and the acne I started with didn't go away any sooner than normal. I wouldn't personally buy it again but maybe it may work for you so give it a try! I have dry skin.

Not a fan

Unfortunately this cleanser did not work for me.
I’m not entirely sure what in these products doesn’t work for my skin, especially because I don’t have sensitive skin, & very rarely have any reactions to products, and have used acne specific products in the past with no issues.

I stopped using other skincare products, wondering if they didn’t work well together, but unfortunately my skin still was red, felt tingly, dry & irritated when just using these products together.

I tried just using one of the products at the time to see if it was a specific one out of the 4.

I was able to use the cleanser on my chest, back & arms with no issues, and it helped clear any body acne I had. But it did leave my skin feeling dried out.

Très déçu

J'ai vraiment été déçu de se produit. Il ne mousse pas, s'étend pas vraiment bien, mais surtout, c'est l'odeur que je n'ai pas aimer. Absolument terrible.

Creamy, gentle cleanser but bleaches fabrics

I like the creamy texture of this acne cleanser, and that it doesn't strip my skin or cause sensitivities. The downside is that it smells like chlorine, and bleaches my towels and pillow cases no matter how careful I am. I've used benzoyl peroxide in the past and knew about the bleaching effects, so I use white towels to dry my face and hands when I'm using this cleanser. But I still somehow manage to get minor bleach spots on my nice grey hand towels, and grey pillow cases. For this reason, it's so much easier to stick with other acne cleansers that don't contain fabric-bleaching ingredients.

The scent is not for me

I received a free product to try. I tried all 4 of the set at the same time. My routine started with this Acne wash. Unfortunately, it almost smells like bleach to me and I couldn't continue using more than 2 days. It wasn't harsh on my skin and the texture is good. After wash it leaves a clean feeling which I like.

Good but a tad harsh on my skin

I liked the creamy texture but it was a little harsh on my sensitive skin. I blame this more on the benzoyl peroxide as I'm quite sensitive. Overall good but use sparingly if your skin is like mine, however I do like it for my pits to kill bacteria that causes bacteria!

Potentially a Good Product But NOT Gentle on Skin

I tried the PanOxyl Benzoyl Peroxide Cream 4% Daily Cleansing Wash and unfortunately got a skin irritation from it. Though the product claims to be formulated to be gentle on skin, it caused lots of redness on mine, and I’m assuming that’s from the level of benzoyl peroxide there was in it. It has a very strong scent, almost reminding me of bleach. My skin did feel clean after use so it likely works to eliminate acne bacteria, just be cautious as it is a strong product and may not be suitable for all skin types.

Un nettoyant pas pour moi

J'ai reçu gratuitement le nettoyant pour la peau de PanOxyl à tester contre un avis honnête grâce à Butterly et je suis déçue, il me brûle la peau dès la première utilisation et je ne l'ai pas trouvé efficace, malheureusement. Il ne convient tout simplement pas à mon type de peau.
