Not for sensitive skin

I received the PanoxylClarifying Exfoliant a couple of weeks ago and my daughter used it a few times.

This is her review: Unfortunately for me, this caused an unpleasant burning sensation on my skin. I tried to use it 3 times and at different times of the day but every single time I used it, I got the same feeling. As a result I am no longer using it.

I don’t recommend this product due to my sensitive skin’s reaction to it but can’t say how it will be for other people.

Skip this step if you have sensitive skin

I’ve been using this toner after the acne cleanser and it definitely dries out the skin to be almost unbearable. Even with moisturizer after. I don’t have overly sensitive skin but I have been skipping the toner and only using every few days. I would recommend this product if you struggle with acne. I only breakout a few times a year, so for myself, I wouldn’t purchase the toner.

Too Strong for my skin

This was the only product that I wouldn't recommend from this line. I am older now, in my mid 30's, so I know that my skin is more sensitive than it used to me. So this product was too strong for me and it made my skin really dry. I think I would have liked this more when I was younger.

Didn't work for me

I got to try this for free. I'm glad I did, as I had honestly never heard of the product before. I tried it for two weeks. Put it on, and left it on as per instructions. But I continued to have fresh acne and the acne I started with didn't go away any sooner than normal. I wouldn't personally buy it again but maybe it may work for you so give it a try! I have dry skin.

Not my first choice

The clarifying exfoliant was quite drying on my skin. I used it 3 times over the course of 4 days and it burned ever time I used it. It also made me break out. So unfortunately I won't be using it anymore.

Clarifying Exfoliant

I found this product just ok. I will use together with the other PanOxyl products however I will not be purchasing in the future. The consistency is very thin which leaves a nice thin layer on my skin but it did burn slightly for a moment but left my skin feeling dewy.

I'm not sure how to be use this

I'm not entirely sure what or how to use this product. The instructions on the package aren't entirely clear. When I see the word exfoliant, I think of a scrub, but this is very much not that. I actually think this is supposed to be more like a spot treatment. I don't love that it's a watery liquid. It's hard to apply with just your finger.

Made my skin burn

I could only use this product for a few days since it made my skin burn very bad. Can't say if it really worked or not. For my skin it just didn't work.

Made my skin burn

This toner is not for the faint of heart. If you have sensitive skin or damaged skin barrier this will burn and hurt. My skin is very sensitive and started burning/ turning red immediately after application. I had to wash it off and use other soothing products. I would only recommend this for very oily/resilient skin. Next time I will only use it on my nose.

Not for me!

I've been trying the PanOxyl clarifying exfoliant and I'll be honest that I do not like it. Salicylic Acid just doesn't work well with my skin, and I find this particular product leaves a sticky film on my skin that is incredibly unpleasant. It's a pass for me.
