Sandy sunscreen

The texture is thick and weird as it has like a microbeads, gives a whitecast and a little shiny effect on skin. I used this couple of times but couldn’t stand the microbeads on it. I have combo skin type and I find it a little hard to blend or lather as it dries up instantly. Product is okay for me as it has spf30 to protect from sun exposure.

Gritty texture

I was happy to see that this product has SPF 30 but found that it feels more like a thick sunscreen than a moisturizer. It has a gritty texture and you have to work the product into the skin until it leaves only a slight shine. I also don’t think it is good under makeup.

Great moisturizer but has a distinct scent

I used this in the mornings and felt the ultra-hydrating and lightweight effect which i loved for a morning moisturizer. It felt like a little greasy because of the spf but i didnt mind because i love a moisturizer with spf. the only downside is that it does have a strong chemcical scent which was a littel offputting but other than that i loved it.

Good Average Daily Cream

The daily moisturized is nice I would say like any other daily moisturizer and like how this has food SPF of 30 to protect your face especially if you use the night pm crean and exfoliator in your routine that needs sun protection on your skin the next day. I wouldn't say this is a lightweight moisturizer as the sun screen does make the consistency like heavy and a bit sticker on the face.
Otherwise it is a good average daily moisturizer cream with SPF.

Gritty Texture

PanOxyl's Oil Control AM Moisturizer with SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen, unfortunately, did not work for me. It had a gritty texture to it when applied. Maybe this is how mineral sunscreens are. The moisturizer also left my skin matte and dry, leaving my skin flakey. I had to wash it off and re-do the routine with my regular moisturizer.

Gritty texture

If you are a person who doesn’t like textured moisturizers this is not the product for you. This product feels gritty when applying and takes a lot to get it to soak into the skin. It may just be my skin type but I found it gave me a white cast over my face similar to sunscreen until I continued to mix it into my skin. It was hydrating and moisturizing but the application of this product isn’t my favorite as the grits can be a tad irriating if your skin is sensitive. Out of the 4 products I used in this line, this was my least favourite. I did appreciate that it had SPF in it; but the texture was what played the most influence in my opinion

Paraben free sunscreen for acne prone skin

I used PanOxyl AM Oil Control Moisturizer for my severe acne-prone skin. While it effectively absorbs excess oil and provides SPF 30 protection, I rate it 3/5 stars due to its consistency. It takes a while to blend, which can be inconvenient. Nonetheless, its paraben and fragrance-free formula, along with its antioxidant blend, make it a decent option for daily hydration and sun protection.

Works but smells and is gritty

This completely calmed my acne. No acne even during my period. My skin was less red and looked good. The AM moisturizer did not leave my skin oily. Even after 12+ hours wear, my skin still is not oily. But it does have a smell. It doesn’t stink but it doesn’t smell good. My kids would even tell me my face stinks when I hugged them. It also is gritty. Almost like other exfoliating skincare products I have used. I found all the products, left my face feeling very dry. It didn’t look dry but it sure felt it. I did find under my eyes looked dry after a week of use. This works great to clear up acne! But the smell and how dry it makes your skin feel, may not be worth it for some. I recommend these products for people with moderate to severe acne with oily skin.

Not a fan

I wasn't a huge fan of the Panoxyl Oil Control Moisturizer.
My skin type is combination. Although I love it has SPF in it, I wasn't a huge fan of the product itself.
I didn't feel like the Moisturizer was "lightweight" as described above in the description. I found it to be thick and also had a gritty texture like it was an Exfoliant scrub. I should point out, it wasn't an abrasive texture. After applying the moisturizer to my skin, and then following up with my makeup, I didn't notice a difference of my skin texture. However, after applying the moisturizer with my hands, I noticed I needed to wash it off as it left a sticky feeling.

Not For Me but a Great Product

I love that it's nice and light, and contains sunscreen. I think this would be a better every day moisturizer for younger skin. I am in my 40's and while I do still have acne, I need something a little more substantial. That being said, I do use it on my 'T' area, as it is more oil-prone than the rest of my face.
