We did not notice a difference with this product. Her skin didn't seem any less oily than before. For the price and the lack of effectiveness, we would not recommend this product.

Great Moisturizer, However Not Melanin-Friendly

I love this moisturizer! It's great for my oily skin and the SPF formula allows my skin to remain oil-free and sunburn-free! However, it leaves a fate white-cast on my melanined skin which is a bummer, but I usually wear it underneath my make-up so it's not too much of a big problem. I would love to buy this again in the future with a formula that's more suitable for melanined people like me.

Sticky feel after application

I was recently given the opportunity to test and review the PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer, sent over by Butterfly and Crown Labs. As someone with normal skin, I was curious to see how this product would work for me.
Upon applying the moisturizer, the first thing I noticed was how it left my skin feeling sticky. The texture was a bit odd to me, almost like a body scrub. It absorbed quickly into my skin, but leaving it with a sticky, matte finish with a white cast.
But, the true test came on the hotter days when I travelled. On these days, my face tends to get a little oily. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer helped control the oil on my face to an extent. The only downside is how thick the product is and the slight smell to it.

Two in one moisturizer and sunscreen

This everyday lightweight moisturizer doubles as a UVA/UVB broad spectrum SPF sunscreen. My skin felt hydrated without clogging my pores. I found it did a great job with absorbing an excess oils and preventing that unflattering shiny nose and forehead at the end of the day. However, I did find the consistency and texture of the moisturizer to be on the thicker side which left a slight white cast.

Not a fan of the texture

The Oil Control Moisturizer offers sun protection and long-lasting oil control, but its thick texture did not impress me. While the SPF protection is appreciated, the moisturizer's consistency feels heavy and may be challenging to blend evenly. However, once applied, it effectively mattifies the skin, preventing excessive oiliness throughout the day. Although the texture could be improved for a smoother application experience, its oil-controlling properties and SPF inclusion make it a decent choice for those with oily or acne-prone skin seeking sun protection.

Ok Producy

I found this product to be ok-it was an effective moisturizer yet the formula was very thick, has an odd smell and left my skin feeling sticky, I was not overly please with this moisturizer. I would not purchase as a daily product,

Works! But the texture is weird

Honestly I do think that this works even though I’ve been using it only a week and a half. One thing I will say is that I don’t love the texture as you’re rubbing it into your skin. Once it’s rubbed in there is no residue or texture issues but just not my favourite texture for a moisturizer. Love that this has SPF in it though!

Panoxyl AM Moisturizer

I am on the fence with this moisturizer. I love that it has SPF 30 but it was a thicker moisturizer because of that and is more paste like in consistency. I found it hard to blend into my skin. It also has a bit of an unpleasant smell that I wasn’t a fan of. It did seem to absorb excess oil from my forehead so that was a plus.

I love that this moisturizer for its acne fighting properties but especially for the fact that it has broad spectrum sunscreen. I am confident using it in the morning and I know i’ll be protected from the harsh rays.

Good oil control

The instructions say to shake well prior to applying but the product seems to be a thicker cream in a tube that I couldn’t really shake. I ended up massaging the tube a bit to try to mix it. Initially when I applied it on, I didn’t really like it. The creamy was grainy and not smooth. However it did rub in well without leaving any residue and absorb into my skin well without leaving white cast. Even though it was a cream, it didn’t leave the skin feeling greasy. I’ve used it for a week and feel that it does seem to help with absorbing oil and keeping my face from getting too shiny. It seems like a good product, just not for me. I don’t really like the grainy texture and prefer sun protection with at least spf 50.
