Not for me

I was very excited to try a moisturizer that contains spf 30 for the first time and that would control oil on my face! Unfortunately it isn’t the right product for me as while it moisturized my face, it didn’t reduce or control the shine on my forehead which can be daunting. There was also a little bit of a white cast after application, though I did really appreciate it including spf 30 for someone like me who isn’t good at using sunscreen every day.

Useful product and easy application

I received PanOxyl oil control moisturizer as a free product from butterly. I find it to be a great product that simultaneously hydrates and protects your skin throughout the day. Not only does it fulfill its purpose, but it does so in a quick and efficient way.

Gentle on sensitive skin

Panoxyl Oil Control Moisturizer
My skin is on the dry side so this moisturizer didn’t help me out as much as someone struggling with oily skin. However its lightweight formula effectively hydrates without leaving a greasy residue, providing the perfect balance of moisture and oil control. I noticed an immediate mattifying effect, keeping shine at bay throughout the day. I liked the product but don’t think I would purchase this again since I don’t suffer from oily skin.

Works great!

I love that this lotion has sunscreen in it already however I don’t love the texture. It’s very “gritty” and sometimes it hurts my skin. It seems to be a thicker lotion but it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy. It does seem light weight once it’s rubbed in and I do believe the whole line up has helped my skin. Will continue using a bit longer and see.

Great SPF

This is a great, lightweight SPF lotion. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t pill or ball up. It’s not oily or shiny and goes on great underneath my makeup.

Room for improvement

Panoxyl (AM) Oil Control Moisturizer (with broad spectrum SPF 30 mineral sunscreen) did not leave my face feeling oily like typical moisturizers. However, I did not enjoy the grainy texture of this, but think that is unavoidable due to the minerals. I personally only used it a few times and could not overlook the textured feeling, but maybe you can!

I had the opportunity to try PANOXYL OIL CONTROL MOISTURIZER. I’ve been using it every morning for the past few weeks. It’s labelled a lightweight daily moisturizer, with SPF 30. Because the moisturizer contains a mineral sunscreen, I had to really blend it into my skin so that I wasn’t leaving any white blotches. One thing I wasn’t prepared for, but that I liked, was that the moisturizer is a little gritty, like a light exfoliant. After use, I can definitely see the difference - my skin looks more matte and oil free. Because of the grittiness, I would rather this be a PM product instead of an AM.

Oil control

I am not one to usually use moisturizer because my skin gets oily easy, I have been using this for a week and my face feels great, and does not appear oily. I am super happy to be able to add this to my skin care routine.

Effective oil control

I recently started using PANOXYL OIL CONTROL Am MOISTURIZER, and it’s been a great addition to my morning skincare routine. As someone with combination skin, keeping the oily areas under control while preventing dryness elsewhere is a delicate balance, and this moisturizer handles it well.
