PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer

PanOxyl Oil Control Daily Moisturizer with mineral sunscreen (broad spectrum SPF 30) was the third product of this line I tested. It was a bit thick but controlled oil production well during the day and protected the skin from harmful UV rays.

A good facial sunblock

I've been trying the PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer, and I'll be honest that I don't think I would repurchase this. It is basically just a facial sunscreen, which is fine, but it's not what I expected and can be a bit heavy on the skin.

Beautiful skin while I get my beauty sleep

I love having a nighttime moistureizer that works while I sleep to improve the appearance of my skin. After I remove my makeup, I cleanse my face, apply a toner, and then I apply just a small amount of Panoxyl PM moisturizer all over my face and neck. The formula is creamy and rich and sinks right into my skin without any sticky residue left over. While I catch some Zzz's, this powerhouse goes to work, keeping my skin clean and clear while hydrating my face so it appears more radiant and youthful. Because my skin is on the sensitive side, I use Panoxyl every other night. Over time, I will build up my application to nightly. This moisturizer is a great addition to my skincare regime and keeps my skin looking and feeling its best.

Takes time to blend

Lightweight daytime moisturizer that comes out like a paste and takes time to blend considering it can give a white cast but it dries down to a nice matte finish after application. Skin feels smooth and I like that this has SPF 30.

There is a strong weird scent to this moisturizer that is hard to describe and I’m on the fence about it whether I can stand the smell or not. At the moment, my skin is dry so I can’t say for sure if this moisturizer would absorb excess oil as it claims on the packaging.

Lots of benefits

I really like using a product that does multiple things for me. This is a moisturizer, and sunscreen also helps with my oily skin. It’s very light feeling, doesn’t leave a white cast either. Most sunscreen will make me more oily, but this one doesn’t at all. Has a bit of a smell to it, can’t really describe it. But it does go away. Hasn’t broken me out. Just wish it had an higher spf, and has a bit of a gritty feeling to it while rubbing in. Will use all summer.

Super innovative

There’s rlly not enough products like this on the market. I love that they kept us acne prone oily skin people in mind. It’s hard enough to find the perfect sunscreen without that greasy texture or white cast but to also finally formulate a product with spf 30 to help aid in acne as well as not be greasy but hydrating. I love it, definitely would recommend.

Non greasy SPF moisturizer

I received this product free from Butterly and PanOxyl in exchange for my honest review. I love that it has broad spectrum SPF 30 and is a mineral formula which is great for sensitive acne prone skin. I found this to be lightweight but extremely difficult to spread, so I didn’t get much hydration from it.

What an amazing moisturizer!

This moisturizer was a bit of a mystery to me cause it felt more like an exfoliant than it did a moisturizer. The little beads that were in there did disappear and it did not leave any white cast on my face at all. It does have spf 30 which is definitely a plus point in my books! Absolutely love it!

Good moisturizer

Loved how there is spf in this moisturizer. It has definitely helped reduce the oil in my skin and have an overall balance. I didn’t care for the smell and the feel of the moisturizer. The feel is super rough and gritty so it’s not pleasant putting it on. But once it’s absorbed into the skin it’s nice and smooth feeling
