average moisturizer

If I am being honest, I found the PanOxyl PM Balancing Renewal Moisturizer to be pretty average. Not great but not bad either. It has a great formulation, consistency and application. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized and hydrated. It has a matt finished and does not leave a long lasting glow (probably from the Palmitic Acid – found in beeswax and gives products a smooth finish).

What really impressed me about this moisturizer is its ingredient list! For a standard drug store moisturizer, retailing for CA $20, it is packed with some great ingredients. For example, it has glycerine, a bunch of lipids and ceramides (Linoleic Acid, Phospholipids, Sphingolipids), hyaluronic acid’s cheaper sister (Sodium Hyaluronate), Caprylyl Glycol, Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, ,2-Hexanediol all to hydrate, moisturize and smooth the skin.

It also contains a bunch of soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients to help with acne prone skin such as: Centella Asiatica (Cica) Leaf Extract, Allantoin, Hydroxyacetophenone (an antioxidant that inhibits inflammatory pathways), Linolenic Acid (anti-inflammatory properties), Polylysine (kills Propionibacterium ances species of acne causing bacteria). It also has my favourite acne scar and dark spot fighting ingredient, impressively listed 3 on the ingredient list, NICINAMIDE (vitamin-B3)!!!

Perfect for night time

This is a great product to incorporate in your PM skincare routine. It’s non irritating and works well when it comes to controlling new acne pop ups! :)

My new fave moisturizer

No More Pores!

I received the PanOxyl PM Balancing Renewal Moisturizer for free in exchange for my honest review. Discovering the PanOxyl PM Moisturizer has been a revelation for my skincare routine and my confidence. Dealing with acne-prone skin often meant sacrificing moisture for fear of clogged pores or greasiness, but this moisturizer strikes the perfect balance. Its soothing formula absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy residue behind. Instead of feeling weighed down, my skin feels refreshed and moisturized throughout the night. I have yet to wake up to find new blemishes caused by this moisturizer, it's a game changer! Unlike other moisturizers that leave my face feeling clogged PanOxyl PM nourishes without suffocating my pores. The only downside I've found is the smell, which isn't my favorite, but the results far outweigh this minor inconvenience. Overall, if you're searching for a non-greasy, pore-friendly, and pore minimizer moisturizer, PanOxyl PM is worth a try.

Great for oily skin

This works great to keep my oily skin at bay. My only concern is it stings a bit when I put it on but that may because it is following my other skincare.

Moisturizing indeed

Not hydrating enough

This moisturizer has a gel like consistency almost watery and not much is needed, I find it to be very light for PM use but it’s good for the summer time. There is a scent to it but nothing too unpleasant. It was tacky on my skin and I wasn’t a fond of that. I did find that this did not provide much hydration to my skin as I currently have dry skin and need something richer.

Gentle moisturizer

I appreciate how lightweight this moisturizer is as its meant to follow the benzoxide cleanser and the salicylic acid toner which can be quiete drying, however I do wish it was a bit more rich or hydrating. The smell isn’t offensive, there is just something about it that makes me wish it was non scented.
