Lightweight Yet Moisturizing

I have been loving adding in the PanOxyl acne patches to my routine, so I was super excited to try this line of different @panoxyl_ca acne washes and creams for free for my honest review (especially since my skin has been more acne prone recently).

Firstly, I tried the Benzoyl Peroxide face wash which had a slight lather when applied. Surprisingly it felt gentle and not overly drying which I was pleased about. It also left my face feeling clean and fresh.

For the second step I used the clarifying exfoliant with Salicylic Acid using a cotton pad. I liked how it felt like a toner and was easy to apply, and I also appreciated that it was a leave on product!

For the third step, I used the PM moisturizer with Niacinamide which was a lightweight and gel like consistency. It felt nice and cooling on my face and dried down pretty quickly, only leaving a slight tackiness. Overall I appreciated how this product helped to restore my moisture barrier and was not overly thick or heavy.

Lastly, the AM moisturizer was also lightweight and a creamier consistency. I also appreciated how this moisturizer contains SPF 30 and helps to control my oil throughout the day.

Final thoughts - I really loved all of these products and how the ingredients really help to target acne and keep it under control. I think when used all together they are really effective!

Overnight Glow-Up: My Journey with PanOxyl's Balan

So, I've been trying out PanOxyl's Balancing Repair Moisturizer, and let me tell you, it's been interesting. The idea is it works its magic while you sleep, fighting off acne. I'd give it a solid 4/5 stars. Skin feels smoother, breakouts are calming down, and it's great they made it for acne-prone skin like mine. Fingers crossed for even better results!

Works but has a smell and is drying

This line of products was very tricky to review. I will break it down into pros and cons. PROS: completely calmed my acne. No acne even during my period. My skin was less red and looked good. The AM and PM moisturizer both do not leave my skin oily. Even after 12+ hours wear, my skin still is not oily. CONS: The daily cleaning wash smells. It doesn’t stink but it doesn’t smell good. So does the AM and PM moisturizer. My kids would even tell me my face stinks when I hugged them. The AM moisturizer was gritty. Almost like other exfoliating skincare products I have used. I found the PM moisturizer stung when first put on my face. I found all the products left my face feeling very dry. It didn’t look dry but it sure felt it. I did find under my eyes looked dry after a week of use. SUMMARY: These products work great to clear up acne! But the smell and how dry it makes your skin feel, may not be worth it for some. I recommend these products for people with moderate to severe acne with oily skin

Not a fan

I’m not entirely sure what in these products doesn’t work for my skin, especially because I don’t have sensitive skin, & very rarely have any reactions to products, and have used acne specific products in the past with no issues.

I stopped using other skincare products, wondering if they didn’t work well together, but unfortunately my skin still was red, felt tingly, dry & irritated when just using these products together.

I tried just using one of the products at the time to see if it was a specific one out of the 4.

As for both the moisturizers, these I was not a fan of. The smell of both is not pleasant, & they left my skin feeling dry. The oil control moisturizer didn’t leave a white cast which is a plus & it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, which helps with oil control.

I’ve seen great reviews for these products, so I’m assuming my experience is more so from whatever didn’t work with my skin

I really could not stand the scent of the PM moisturizer, it wasn’t hydrating enough for a night time moisturizer.
Apart from it irritating my skin, it didn’t feel greasy or oily which is a plus

A night cream to help hydrate the skin

This pm moisturizer contains Niacinamide which helps hydrate the skin. It is to be used before bed to keep the skin well hydrated while you sleep. Over 10 days of use, it works well even for my oily skin. Skin is overall softer and well balanced.

A little goes a long way

I've been using this product over the past 2 weeks and it is an efficient nighttime moisturizer. It is like a thin lotion in texture and a large pea sized amount is enough to smear on the whole face and neck. It absorbs quickly but it is a bit sticky to the touch for a few minutes. It makes the skin looks smooth and the face then doesn't look or feel greasy. I definitely recommend this moisturizer.

Great night routine

I have a added this to my nightly routine as I struggle with really dry flaky skin around my nose, chin, and eyebrows, this product has really helped with that and I will definitely buy again.

Amazing moisturizer

I was happy with similar things I had previously used, but I love this one most. This moisturizer was very much a hit in my books. Smooth in texture and simple to apply In general, I prefer this moisturizer over a lot of the others I've tried. Without a doubt, I would buy.

Refreshing night cream

This cream is lightweight and perfect for working it's magic through the night.
I have combination skin where I usually have dry spots and redness. This product moisturizes enough to make my skin feel hydrated without clogging pores and also my pores and looked smaller.
