average moisturizer

If I am being honest, I found the PanOxyl PM Balancing Renewal Moisturizer to be pretty average. Not great but not bad either. It has a great formulation, consistency and application. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized and hydrated. It has a matt finished and does not leave a long lasting glow (probably from the Palmitic Acid – found in beeswax and gives products a smooth finish).

What really impressed me about this moisturizer is its ingredient list! For a standard drug store moisturizer, retailing for CA $20, it is packed with some great ingredients. For example, it has glycerine, a bunch of lipids and ceramides (Linoleic Acid, Phospholipids, Sphingolipids), hyaluronic acid’s cheaper sister (Sodium Hyaluronate), Caprylyl Glycol, Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, ,2-Hexanediol all to hydrate, moisturize and smooth the skin.

It also contains a bunch of soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients to help with acne prone skin such as: Centella Asiatica (Cica) Leaf Extract, Allantoin, Hydroxyacetophenone (an antioxidant that inhibits inflammatory pathways), Linolenic Acid (anti-inflammatory properties), Polylysine (kills Propionibacterium ances species of acne causing bacteria). It also has my favourite acne scar and dark spot fighting ingredient, impressively listed 3 on the ingredient list, NICINAMIDE (vitamin-B3)!!!

Holy Grail Moisturizer

What I love about this moisturizer is that the lightweight formula doesn't just sit on the surface of the skin; it penetrates and absorbs into the skin quickly while sufficiently hydrating and rejuvenating without leaving any greasy residue. My combination skin feels balanced, calm, and noticeably clearer after the first use. It's more than just a moisturizer it's a nightly renewal that my skin craves,

Great!

This moisturizer is great because most for acne are so thick or oily, but this goes on so smoothly and absorbs into your skin instantly. It has cute ideas and hyaluronic acid to help restore your skin barrier, keep you hydrated, but it also helps to minimize the appearance of pores.

Glass skin look

PanOxyl PM moisturizer reminds me of the Korean skincare products that I have tried. It is non-greasy, light, leaving the skin that glowy, dewy, glass skin look. I can't vouch for the pore minimizing effects yet but i am loving this product already. Will buy again for sure!

Surprised by this moisturizer!

I qreally liked this moisturizer. It’s made to put at night but like to also put it after my PANOXYL sunscreen in the morning for a extra moisturizer. It feels very hydrating. It’s not a strong scent and feel lightweight on the skin. It made my skin gentle. There is also niacinamide in it which is made to help with restoring the skin moisture barrier.
